Seriously blows.
The Lines Blurs, (or whatever it's called - something about blurring anyway) is OK, but The Hand That Feeds is so utterly, utterly awful it's not even funny any more. Despite my friend's desperate conjectures that it's some sort of elaborate joke.
Anyone else heard it yet?

Yes those songs are pretty craptacular. I got them off of bittorrent (I use bit comet). I doubt the cd will be worth a damn, but I'll listen to it (never buy it), and I may see them live if they come close.

I've had no faith for this CD. Ever since The Fragile let me down (Thankfully I only got it for 16 bucks new) I've began to beleive that Trent has lost his muse.

That's balls. The songs suck because they're poorly written and boring. And because ... Feeds sounds like a 80's hair metal parody of NIN.

I like The Fragile, although it isn't nearly as good as the old albums. Weirdly enough, my opinion of the two With Teeth songs is yours reversed. I like The Hand That Feeds a little bit, but I think The Line Begins to Blue sucks.

Meh... It sounds kinda.... like crap I'd hear on the radio. Its lacking... quite a bit. Trent doesn't have to replicate Pretty Hate Machine to maintain an audience, but I would like to hear something a little better than this.

sounds like they're rough cuts of the songs.. they are poorer quality (hopefully) than what will be on the final album. too bad people have to leak shit early and embitter so many of you with such lofty expectations.
here's how i'm not always disappointed about things- I HAVE NO EXPECTATIONS! i happen to like both songs quite a bit. the hand that feeds reminds me of a garbage song, and the line begins to blur sounds like a lot of stuff he was releasing 10 years ago, but i still like it.
as for the fragile, it took a long time to grow on me... like, a few years. the more i listen to it the more i appreciate most of it. yes, it has it's skidmarks, but all releases do in my opinion.
go back and listen to these two songs again, but don't listen to them expecting to hear a downward spiral carbon copy. i think they're both pretty sweet.
i'll still be buying the album AND seeing the tour.
**edit** i'll be posting the tour dates in another thread if there isn't one already. mr. admin, looks like the closest they'll be to you is georgia.

Fornication is actually a misdemeanor in Georgia. Can you actually get arrested for this? Like do people actually wait until marriage in that state?

Feeds is a promo version recorded from some crappy radio station. Dunno about ... Blur. But that's not a good enough excuse so far as I'm concerned.

that's not a good enough excuse so far as I'm concerned. have you ever heard demo versions of songs? my best friend is in a band.. my brother is in a band.. i am constantly bombarded with "listen to this, but remember it's just a demo!" that song that was released was potentially months from completion. having seen and heard many, many fabulous songs grow out of a fairly shitty sounding demo, i'm not jumping to any conclusions.

Yes, of course.
And a good song is a good song even if it sounds hideously unpolished.
In my opinion, they're both bad songs and no amount of shiny production is likely to fix that.
