I don't think I've ever bought an album that I didn't like at the time I bought it. However, the album that I currently posess and dislike the most would have the be the 2BA Master Pokemon soundtrack. I got it when I liked Pokemon in middle school, but I havn't touched it since.

that is a good choice. I don't know if this counts, but I once got a cd for free when I bought some pants. and it was full of a bunch of pop(and really bad pop at that). it's really bad.

I was once looking for something a bit different, and I bought Welcome To Earth by Apoptygma Berzerk. Shocking. It's exactly like techno except it's on Metropolis for some reason, which totally misled me.
That purchase also ended a big run of only buying CDs I've enjoyed, even when I'm not familiar with the artists. Oh well. Should've got the Haujobb instead.

a lot of newer 'industrial' is really just techno with the vocals distorted. it's kinda sad.

Well in Apoptygma Berzerk's case it's exactly like techno. Exactly, except with better beats. Not enough to save it from obscurity, though.
Don't listen to Apoptygma Berzerk.

I had a neo-cyber-hippie friend named Winston that wanted to see Apoptygma Berzerk live. We saw KMFDM and GWAR live so I believe he had decent taste. We never saw Apoptygma Berzerk live but I probably didn't miss much

Friend bought me a skid row album. Tried listening to it multiple times. Traded it for a better album.

I found a copy of Alanis Morissetts's "Jagged Little Pill" while in the army after a roomate moved out, that for some reason I still haven't thrown away. The worst cd that I have boughten was Regurgitator. I thoutht that it was Regenerator (early 90's industrial). Should have known since it was so cheap!!!

The only cd I have ever taken back was that new album by the Rasmus. I don't know WHAT I was thinking.

You know a long time ago, my buddy won a Megadeth CD on the radio and he was so dissapointed...until he found some idiot that gave him a copy of The Downward Spiral for it. He walked away laughing.
