Sow >> Ssik >> Wedge
The day went by like all the other days Stale, heavy, moistened with grief Same old story: he lifted the pearl that rolled down her cheek from her lids in the slit in her lips And a murmur, perhaps a mumble But not enough breath nor twitch of the tongue to achieve speech Just a muttering scuffled by the silence of the stunned mind How long had it been? Thoughts burst forth, screeching to a halt Everything stopped Wasn’t that how it all started? The big bad blow Big bad blow The big bad blow The axe that splits The big bad blow The axe that spits wedged into its tongue
He’s in love with… I wont recognize it because it is not my name
The goodbye is civil Sharon of goods neatly packed, parceled in boxes by its still hopeful hands There were not tears, no stories, no see-you-arounds Strained resistance to track [...?] take in the entire dissolving figure who once with [...?] naked too many times
The vanishing
All but her flesh burns disappears into thick murky air Save a small section of her brain The appropriate segment which pumps limbs with commands such as turn light on, turn light off Get out of bed Go shopping, buy food, eat, do not drink when not in merry mood, try to sleep Do not attempt to think There is no logic in love, only in the lack of it
The following day, after months of rain, the stars turned green again To some children throwing sticks and stones, she said: Don’t do that to my dog He is young and knows nothing of the world His heart is kind and untainted He cannot bite, but I can
The kids ran away laughing So did she

haha, ok. will harass.
if anyone knows what those [...?} are supposed to be, please tell me. Sow has these moments of saoijgsldgjdslgkjsfgj sldgklsZ@7629!! where i'm like: wut....? though, miraculously, i was able to get most of the lyrics.
lol, oh!! one of my illustration teachers asked us to illustrate a song then bring it in for the class to listen, so i brought in wedge. it was awesome! not only is it 6:34 minutes long but full of.....what they didn't like. HAH! it was beautiful.

Good job. Anything that pisses the class off, but gets you an A, is a damn good job.

Eh. College isn't about making friends. Its about getting a decent GPA and getting a piece of paper that says you learned something, even though you haven't.

Heh, thanks. And it's true, pissing off people is good stuff. There's far too much ass-kissing and far too much bending to standards. It's like: say what you gotta say, otherwise what's the point of talking at all? There's nothing more annoying than a group of people numbly nodding to some tired idea. Someone needs to shake them up once in a while, dammit!! (I'm thinking in art world here, btw, so I'm only assuming that's how it is in other fields).
*laugher ensues*
All right, 3am...need sleep.. *falls over narcoleptic sheep style*

People, in general, hate sticking out. If they do, that draws unwanted attention and possably rejection. Why do you think every actress that goes to the Oscars buys her gown from the SAME 5 designers? Buying one from another might look too wild.

Eh. College isn't about making friends. Its about getting a decent GPA and getting a piece of paper that says you learned something, even though you haven't. Preach it, sistah! Anyhow... I've found that to be an incredibly true statement that only becomes more and more true the higher the degree you're going for. I think I've been in school too long (4 years undergraduate, 2 years professional/med school, 2 years on first master's degree, and am currently sitting though my second master's) .... lesson: Know what you want to do and do it as quickly as possible, otherwise you'll wind up wasting a third of your life that could otherwise be productively spent! So true!! That reminds me: I got so damned annoyed when they all made fun of Bjork's swan dress. That thing was mad awesome! I don't like Bjork, but I was like: hell yeah for wearing something original!!
Totally agree, Zer0. I just finished my second-to-last semester and at first was like: praise the lard, it's done!! But then I just felt numb cause what the hell does it all matter anyway? It doesn't, so whatev. *listens to Pig*

Just don't lose track on what you want to do. So many have settled for "It pays well, and maybe in 5-10 years I'll move up". Find what you want, and do not settle for less.

Thanks for the warning, but I'm so damn perpendicular that I couldn't settle for anything nice even if I wanted to. I don't have a clue what's going to happen to me cause all I want to do is to keep fucking with the system. Infiltrate it then fuck with it. And what in the hell does this smiley mean? ...is it playing a harmonica or something?

= Clapping. My friend does network security. He blairs KMFDM/PIG/Skiny Puppy/Whatever else he can get his hands on, while wearing a suit. He's conformed only enough to where he can get a job and infect the co-workers. Hearing his stories about how he's fucking the hot employees and getting his bosses to listen to more industrial just brings a tear to my eye.

Sorry to ressurrect an nearly two-year-old thread, but I saw no better place to put this.
If I may, might I offer a slight lyrics page correction for One For The Neck? This is what I hear, personally (changes bolded, of course). I'm very sure about the 'scruples' part, as it matches 'pupils' perfectly, as opposed to 'schools' which is currently in place. Hope I'm not being a prick, just something I noticed...
We're all looking for something to break We're all looking for a heavenly state Well, the culling is coming, one way or the other I can feel it in the wind that's blinding my eyes One fine day or in the middle of the night Two big boys are gonna get up to fight Well, I'll be diving for cover and double up inside Praying for forgiveness it'll never arrive
My, my, what a beautiful place Who is first to destroy the human race I've got faith, what do you say 1, 2, 3, and it's a beautiful day My, my, here's one for the neck Don't relax, 'cos you're next for the check I've got faith - we're armed to the teeth But I've got a strange and a stupid belief
We're looking for a little salvation What I got, it's a living domination Big world, wild eyes, shiny boots, and broken ties Government progress, what do you get? less Why do you want to hear about the state of my mind Well, I would see it in their pupils They got no scruples Oh, what a way to go
Again, sorry to criticize, but I'm a stickler for accuracy (or at least this is what I perceive as accurate).

The lyrics are far from completed still. Many songs never had lyrics in the cd/tap/lp inserts so many of the lyrics I just copied from other sites or had to listen to myself (which got old). Eventually we'll have the real lyrics.
