So I was looking through a used record shop this afternoon. It's absolutely useless for finding anything rare. It's only real strength is finding stuff cheap. Most stuff is $5 or less. But it's selection is about on par with Best Buy. You're not going to find anything too obscure. Mostly fairly mainstream stuff.
I rarely check for Pig, as they're just not the type of store to have it. One time I found the US GAM there and couldn't believe my eyes. And I've seen the US Sinsation there once or twice ever in like 5 years. Other than that, no Pig ever.
Then today, out of the blue...I find none other than the Japanese Poke In The Eye. What fucking idiot went to a random mainstream used shop and sold off their Poke In The Eye CD for a couple bucks?! I could see someone not knowing what they had with the original Wax Trax version (which I also found randomly used for $8, but that was almost a decade ago). But the Japanese version was never just something randomly easy to come by in the US. Whoever got it went out of their way to get it. Yet they sell it off for peanuts. Oh well, mine now!
I just finally got the Japanese version last week too. So now I have a spare. Maybe my greatest random used find ever.

I guess some drug addicts in the world have good taste in music and when they fall on less high times pawn things.

Good find. I often buy stuff at record fairs & find tat the reason why I though they looked good was because I already had 2 copies at home. Maybe I should take a list with me ?
