If I'm in Vegas, the #1 thing I would do is unleash my nerdiness and go to the Star Trek Experience and blow my money on futuristic drinks from Quark's bar....
But that floats my boat. Probably not so much yours.

He was asian, old and nerdy.
The owner casually said at the end when we were talking "I just got the C.S.I. game" I didn't really respond because I didn't know anything of it. We left around the same time and in the back of his work truck was a brand new C.S.I. pin in the box which retails for atleast $4,000

HP, you got to go to the Pinball Hall of Fame??? *loud squeeing* Sorry, I love pinball, I have since I was a little girl, the SO also loves pinball (and was shocked that I did better than him on one of the LoTR machines last time we found an arcade with an actual machine), and just the thought of all those machines in one location... that's something else to add to the list when I go to Vegas one day. And I take it you don't use some sort of lip balm? Tsk, tsk.

I sense we should add an arcade or a Dave & Busters to our list of DC recreation spots...

Thanks for the link, HP, I now have this insane grin on my face and a happy heart just LOOKING at ALL THOSE MACHINES *drool*.... Here's a link for you. The Internet Pinball Machine Database: www.ipdb.org/ Attempting to document every machine ever made. Go drool. I have always wanted to play an early, early machine, just to see what one was like; from what I've read, flippers came along rather than later in the life of pinball machines rather than being integral to them from the beginning, as they started out as carnival machines/games of chance/ways to rip off the local yokels, so the early ones were pretty much just ball droppers that the more competitive could attempt to nudge and tilt . I wonder if early pinball and pachinko are related? Oh, here's the mandatory Early Pinball Machine example: The 1871 Redgrave Parlor Bagatelle. www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=4542 Playfield here: www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=4542&picno=6000NP

I know IPDB.com very well
I find Pins to be a lot more interesting than video games.
