I got into a debate against a friend of mine over this. This isn't scientifically proven. Its basically one geek's observations. And it completely contradicts my current relationship. Also, Do not rely on websites on psycology. Especially one entitled www.intellectualwhores.com. That's gotta be an oxymoron.

As a whole and in general it is a correct analysis of the man/woman and what they Truly desire out of each other. Yes Zero your relationship can be one of the few oddities Man is Man's best friend in the end. Men and Women don't seek the same things overall. Females most of the time seek Males that are more well off than they are. Females lie more about what they truly want than males.

It may be true for the male half... (I'm not going to judge because I don't have a cock), but what most women want isn't money or power... rather someone to bitch at. Emotional stability. Mental and emotional things rather than material. That's why you're more likely to see an attractive woman with a nerdy guy instead of vice versa. Oh yea, and the whole idea that females lie more about what they want.... WE DONT KNOW WHAT THE FUCK WE WANT. Feelings just happen and we have no control over them. Blame hormones. Not us.

That's not true at all. Women are subconciously attracted to richer men. It makes sense if you think about it - female mammals are the caregivers for the children, and child care requires a large pool of resources. (Oh and if your reply to that happens to be 'what happens when a woman doesn't want children', that statement happens to be completely contrary to everything science knows about the brain, and evolution too. The urge to continue the species is the single biggest biological urge we all - yes, this includes guys - have). And I expect you'll find that nerds make pretty good money generally too. Stability is a large part of it too, but that's mainly because women don't really want their partner to kick the crap out of them, and someone who isn't off their trolley is much less likely to do this.
Then there's good genetics, which is why people are more attracted to someone who looks good (visual cues that this or that person is healthy and likely to produce many healthy little twerps when prompted), even if they're pretending to be deep, or some such other crap like that. This is somewhat more important to guys, because we're programmed to be heinously slutty so as to spread our seed as widely as possible.

Good genetics plays a role, I would admit that.
HOWEVER. I notice that most of the people who tend to agree with this study are pissed off-single males who have frustrations towards the opposite sex.

A big purpose of this theory in my eyes is to show people that are blind that males and females in general don't have the same desires when seeking each other. Their goals for each other outside of sexual relations for the most part are conflicts of interest (I invest my money, a good majority of American girls would rather have that money spent on them etc...). There are rare cases where common interests, goals, and desires match. Bravo Zer0
