Rammstein- Reise Reise Got it yesterday instead of the first day because it was low priority. It has to be their weakest album yet and does carry on from where they left off on Mutter. Each song had better potential. The strongest songs are obviously the title track, Reise Reise and Mein Teil. Amerika... well... . If you're new to Rammstein and in the market for one of their stronger albums, go for Sehnsucht. Or mix up earlier stuff with Live Aus Berlin.

Well I like Reise Reise. I like the new direction they're taking with their music, a little more eclectic than it used to be. And you totally forgot about 'Los', god damn that song rules.

i thought los would fit perfectly in the movie from dusk till dawn. it has that feel to it.
i loved the album, personally. i think its so much stronger than sehnsucht.. i like that they're getting away from too much of an electronic sound. i love all their albums, don't get me wrong, but sehnsucht is by far my least favorite. i think reise reise is awesome, especially because there aren't any tracks i skip.

Since this seems to be intended as a general review thread, I'm going to change the subject a little (if I'm out of line, say so).
Finntroll - Nattfoedd
Nattfoed, the latest album from Finnish metallers Finntroll, kicks arse. Which is entirely unsurprising, because all their albums kick arse. If you haven't heard of Finntroll, they meld black metal and a traditional Finnish rhythm called 'hummpa' (similar to polka) to magnificent effect, creating a sound as distinctive as it is heavy. Anyway, the stand out tracks are Trollhammaren (yes, most of their songs are about trolls), Fiskarens Fiende, Grottans Barn, and Det Iskalla Trollblod, all of which rock harder than a chunk of granite. The final verdict: Listen to Finntroll.

I still havn't gotten the CD yet, but I've seen a few of the videos. I thought Mein Teil was kind of a lame video, but the song was great. I think the video for Amerika is one of the best videos I've seen(my favorite being Ich Will) but I didn't think the song was anything special.

i thought compared to most of their videos, it wasn't much of anything. It was still better than most videos that are released these days.
