me... but i'm not talking about singing honestly though, i think he and siouxsie would be a good duet. Me. And I will sing. But if it has to be someone else, I'd say Dolorna Alberti. She's done good work with KMFDM. Why the hell not?

Michelle Walters from Voodou would be kind of cool, though sort of obvious. Or the Free from The kidneythieves.

Abby Travis. She's worked with KMFDM. Or how about Bjork. That would be interesting

Rob Van Winkle (V-Ice) just for comic value. That record would go PLATINUM!

I thought Karen Carpenter died of anorexia in the early 80s? Although digital manipulation could make that duet possible... as to other female artists, I honestly can't think of anyone right off the top of my head. Give me a few weeks and I might be able to think of someone.

P.S. But if we turn the topic to male duets... how about Harry Connick Jr, since he has modern jazz down pat? (I heard an arrangement of "I'll Be Home for Christmas" by him on radio, and for some reason I started thinking about how it would sound if it were a duet with Ray)

Finally thought of a couple of females... Tori Amos (only because an unusual number of my female friends seem to like her, and it would be a good way to introduce them to the wonders of RayRay). Sarah McLachlan (okay, two totally different types of music, but I think the aural combination of their voices would be interesting). The girl from The Cranberries. And, just because it occurred to me a while back, that guy with the deep voice from Crash Test Dummies.

Tori Amos, definitely. And perhaps Amanda Palmer from the Dresden Dolls. That would rock beyond belief.

[glow=red,2,300]NINA HAGEN ! I love this artist !! [/glow] I was about to post that too. Her and Apocalypticas version of Rammstein Seeman are awsome. I hated the original verision but her voice is perfect for it.

Tori Amos
Nina Persson (would be really fucked up, but that's the whole point...)
I'd love to hear Raymond do something with all of Concrete Blonde...
Shirley Manson (fanboy wet dream...)
PJ Harvey
Peaches
...just a thought...

See? I knew it was a good idea... Oh of course...I think their voices would mix really well...some of the best songs sound a little off until you listen to them at a different angle, you know? Just the idea of that...definite fanboy grin... ps-Tori could stand to go into overdrive maybe a bit as well...and I don't mean Y Kant Tori Read...
