You lot should check out UHB, someone mentioned the possibility of the album being on the KMFDM site for some reason, and it turned into a discussion about what a sitcom with Sascha and En Esch would be like.

UHB are sasha fanboys. Sorry... I used to post years ago... then I got annoyed with the regulars.

UHB kinda scares me, I'm usually too freaked to post any comics there. It's one thing to tease a musician, it's another to do it while they're watching. I've seen Sascha tell off people down there before...

On a lighter note there's this huge Manson forum, The Heirophant, it's hysterical. It makes my brain bleed but it's like watching a train wreck.

Yeah, Sasha needs to grow up. Let fans be fans... even if he doesn't agree with them.

True dat.
Now back to Mona Mur, I just go around to listening to 120 Tage. I've decided that I liked Mona Mur better without En Esch, somebody get Guenter in here to drag him back to SI.

I didn't say I didn't like it. But Snake was one of my favorite songs and I'm just not positive about the new version.

I didn't said you didn't like it. Although you have some reason... Snake sounds kinda weird. I usually love all the newer versions of songs i really like.

Yeah I was liking the album 'til snake started and it was En Esch doing the little intro. I love his voice but it was just a real mind fuck at the time.

This album is Awsome! I would deffinitly recomend picking it up. As good if not better than the slick idiot albums and he did it without Guenter. En really steps up the plate for this album. I havn't heard much Mona Mur so I can't say if she is better or not with him, but all the older versions of the songs that i've heard aren't nearly as good as the new versions. The guitars, programming, even Mona's vox sound better too me, much more modern sounding. But coming to this as an En fan and from that perspective it ceratainly doesn't dissapoint. I would still love to hear some more slick idiot but I wouldn't complain if en kept doing new records with Mona either. I would only hope if they do another record of all new songs that en gets half of the vocals duties. Their vocals compliment each other very nicely. The three songs on the album where en splits the vocals pretty evenly with Mona are easily the best tracks on the album with Visions and Lies being my personal favorate. Next favorate is the thin red line. Very catchy song. The wound is a great ending track aswell. Other favorates are Snake which is a great classic rock kindof ballad and Mon Amour which sounds like it's set in some sort of evil industrial carnival. Personally Snake doesn't sound weird to me at all, maybe you guys are just to used to hearing the older version?

That's almost certainly it. It's like listening to Lucia do vocals for an old KMFDM song, it doesn't matter how well she does, it takes some getting used to.

It's funny though, some ass posted the whole album on youtube and instead of reporting him, the due from Pale Music is just trolling the comments section. He's even one of the guy's youtube watchers, it's kind of creepy...

Anyway tough call, on the one hand hearing it might encourage more people to buy the album, cause they only get to hear the crappy you tube quality version of the songs and they want the better quality one, on the other hand it might not and it should be up to the artist, though unfortunately in todays current music climate no artist or label can expect to beable to stop all illegle sharing of their music.

Eh... kids these days don't give a shit about sound quality, they don't seem to know the difference. They've probably spent too much time deafening themselves with those damnable earbuds. I wish I thought of that? Because question marks make everything more enthusiastic!
