So the purpose of this thread is to progress off-topic time and time again and again. So far I'll post another picture that is technically on topic and give someone else the liberty of going off topic...

I had to work 8 hours starting at 6 am this morning after being off only 7 hours since I closed last night. It sucked goat scrotum.

Every week for a few months... I wake up in-between 2-4pm on Fridays (After having worked 11:30pm-7:30am the previous night) to then work from 11:30pm that night until 12pm on Saturday then I stay awake until in-between 10pm-12am that night. Coffee, Vitamins, Protein, Water, and will power are a great combohh.

I wonder how many fish I've cought and bagged in my life. I worked at a pet store for 9 years. I bet it was a lot. I would guess in the millions.

I'm starting to hate weekends. I always work weekends, and the fucking managers at my store will not let us do anything but help customers on Saturday and Sunday. If there aren't any customers around, too damn bad. Go find some.

We used to work weekends, but quickly discovered that nobody else worked weekends, and expected us to be at various events... annoying. I liked weekends in the middle of the week because nobody's out shopping. I can actually get to places.

Anyone wanna write this history essay for me? He's come up with some questionable (but usually interesting) essays the past few weeks, but this one takes the cake:
It's the summer of 1955 and you are the pastor of a church in a small, midwestern city preparing your Sunday sermon. There are lots of teen-age members of your congregation and you have good relations with them. A Rock and Roll concert is scheduled for the following Saturday night in a local arena, headlined by Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard. You don't like Rock and Roll and are convinced it's a bad influence on young people, so you'd like to devote at least part of your sermon to expressing those ideas. But you also don't wan't to alienate your young members. Keeping those objectives in mind, write your sermon.
Acceptable length 2 pgs (500 words)
I'm not the least bit religious and I can honestly say I have no idea what a sermon is supposed to sound like, so boy oh boy is this going to take some creativity on my part!

And... while I'm decently motivated to keep putting off this paper... and the 8 page essay I have to write on programming data sources (ugh!)... you people add me to your MySpace. I don't have a lot of friends for a reason, but I like you guys, so add away. It's linked right here on my profile for my WWW. You'll have to use my email canoprof @ gmail. Go ahead, do it, I dare you!

Also, sermons are easy. I go to church on Christmas even though I'm an atheist, because I love Christmas carols, and the theological component of the sermons is generally pretty low. Mix in a couple of bible quotes and relate it back to the seven deadlys or the ten commandments and you'll be fine.

There are two guys camping out to see Batman at the local Cinerama (which is a pretty sick screen). I saw Bladerunner at this theater last year. They will be camping there over 24 F'N Hours!
Why?
What seat is so precious that they'd do this?

I was really nervous about him directing the film too, until I saw the trailer. It's online now. Check out apple.com, or the movie's website, or youtube. It doesn't really show much in terms of story or characterization, but it confirms one thing: THIS MOVIE WILL LOOK DAMN GOOD.
