How would you book a 2007 Tour? What bands would be on the tour? What would the be route be and what cities would be worthy?
If PIG tours next year I hope they aren't the headliner. It was great to see them as the main event, I don't mind seeing bands later in the night but financially it would make a lot more since to play shows with a lot more people than what showed up at shows this year than be the headliner. Playing earlier means partying earlier and sleeping more for PIG.
Who would be the headliner? Someone like Ministry or Type O Negative would realistically work NIN & Marilyn Manson would work great but won't happen (Imagine a PIG/Manson/NIN tour wow) or if there is a chance in hell that Rammstein tours here again that would be a great tour. Someone brainstorm a band that PIG could open for.
The Route? The north area of America is a wasteland for concerts. The south from east to west and a few spots on each coast are worth playing. California, Texas and Florida are the best southern states to tour. Florida turnout was damn good for shows on weeknights! Texas & California would have done real good as well.
The Cities? No small towns! In Florida they played Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, and Tallahassee. I'd only keep Tampa and then play Orlando and Jacksonville add Miami if you'd like. For the most part only play states that have more than one city worth playing (Georgia only has Atlanta).

it would be pretty insane if pig opened for kmfdm. But I know that won't happen. I wouldn't mind seeing them tour with Thrill kill kult, but I don't know who would open. ministry really does make a lot of sense though. I wouldn't really like pig touring with nin or manson. He would make nin or manson look bad, and that would be no good for them.

i can't belive how many shows skip st. louis, indianapolis and louisville. Instead just opting for chicago.
I saw ministry in looville with my brother on the evil doer tour and it was awesome (the day after dimebag was shot)
if indy is skipped, i would think a looville show would almost be necessary.
but i live in a college town and we get nothing good. NIN was here... and ... um... then i drive to chicago (which i hate).

Okay, okay. I got it.
Headliner: Doesn't matter. They will be easily washed out be the awesomeness that follows.
Route: This is semi-tricky, but I think it can be done. Once a tour bus is purchased, draw a map of every city where our forum members live in. I don't think there's a person here who wouldn't open their home up to a bunch of musicians. Hotel fees and food fees are thusly PAID. This way, even if you are forced to go into a small town, you still get room and board.
If elected to house PIG, I will overstock my house with nothing but bacon and fry it for three days. Bacon, wine and cheese. Gotta cover all the food groups.

Headliner: Okay, once again, I must force my R.E.M. fangirlness onto everyone else. Route: As much as I adore Ray-Ray, I couldn't subject him, or any band member, to a stop in this tiny little patch of nothingness... unless every band member is secretly a masochist. Or a NASCAR fan -- but that would only work during race weeks. Cities: I MUST insist, if there is an international component to this tour, on Mexico City. Otherwise... hmmm... how about, instead of a tour based on cities, tour colleges and universities instead? That way, the lard can be slathered upon a new generation (although now that I think about it, that would mean shows are limited to students only, wouldn't it? Ignore me, I'm braindead tonight.) NP

If I had my way, which I usually want to, I'd book the following:
PIG/KMFDM/Ministry 2007 Tour
Maybe it's a long shot, but it'd be incredible.
Give everybody a full set list, bring some extra cash along to pay off the noise curfew violations, and you're set.
This tour would work best in places like I saw KMFDM recently-the Ridglea, places high on vibe and not exactly large venues.
You're down in the music, amongst the people and it's all about having a great time.
Personally, I think this bill could rake in cash for those involved, and if they tour KMFDM style-cram as many shows in as few dates as possible, with some extra dates for the people that usually get left out, the U.S. tour could be incredible.
Then see how everybody feels when it comes to Canada Or Europe.
Worth a shot.
ps-I like Zer0's idea as well.

I think the greatest possible show would be a day long affair (lalapaloza-ish... only really good) with kmfdm, ministry, skinny puppy and everyone who has ever been in them (and all sides/bastards). pigface, chemlab, pig, ohgr, slick idiot, revolting cocks, lard, excessive force.
(i've probably said this before) but a blended set where people just go on and off stage and play songs would be great. ogre doing some of his kmfdm stuff. esch back doing kmfdm tunes, paul barker on ministry bass, bill reiflin on drums (for the entire day)... everyone playing where they should be! Chris connelly singing for revco.
Everyone plays for an hour, takes a break, then goes back on and plays as someone else... then takes a break... or they have to have 7 people on stage at all times, and you play 7 songs then rotate, kind of like musical chairs.
it'd be the greatest show ever.

I would drop my entire life to be there.
*EDIT*
This does not include my fiance, who would probably do the same thing as I would.

Perhaps he can join you in your current location.... (In reference to what it says under your icon) If somehow, this world were to go insane and such a thing were possible... I'd sell tickets (25% off for any member of this board... and free admission if you want to join in on the fun ). PLUS make sure a film crew were there to capture all the tentacley goodness for future DVD (and perhaps theatrical?) release. Damn... this reminds me of some dreams I've been having lately... NP P.S. I do not look for these things: these things find me, usually through some disturbed members of some LiveJournal communities I read. www.zoofur.com/tent.html and www.zoofur.com/pigboar.html ... but be warned, you might need some bleach to clean your brain afterwards.

THE SKINNY PUPPY X FACTOR...
Skinny Puppy has a new cd coming out next January, A tour planned to start in March. Jared of Chemlab hints at a tour early next year, Chemlab is doing a warm up gig (maybe gigs) early in January with a new drummer. Who better to add to this tour than PIG?
What would you pay to see this show? I'd easily pay $50 even though I'm not a big SP fan. Ohh yeah and I'd probably see this show atleast 2 times.

Holy bold, batman! Depends on how near they play to me. If I have to pay $20+ for a round trip into NYC, then I might pass all together.
