hopefully this has already been mentioned or speculated elsewhere in the forum, but since i've been away for several months it'd take me a long ass time to catch up.
in talking with the band for several hours both before and after the chicago show, the subject of raymond came up a few times.. it wasn't until all of us were good and lit at the aftershow party till my friends and i got the straight news. one of the band members *guaranteed* that raymond would never work with kmfdm again. there was quite a bit of colorful language used to describe him, his personality and his work ethic, and generally painted him in a quite unfavorable light. i can only hope it was the alcohol exaggerating things, but i really do think it's a very slim chance we'll see raymond and kmfdm together again.

Hmmm... I'd be willing to bet that its either Jules or Andy (but I really think its Lucia).... but in any case, this does bring some sad light. I would rather have a KMFDM (with no Ray) AND a PIG cd, rather than KMFDM with PIG cd. Two IS greater than one.
That is a strange turn of events... was this the recent Chicago tour? When I talked to them at the 20th Ann. tour, they seemed kinda not caring that Raymond wasn't there... but not angry about it, ya know what I mean? My only estimated assessment is that he did something retarded recently to fluff their feathers and now they are excommunicating him.
That's just shitty... *sigh* But I guess we're not there, so we can't judge something that we don't know about. I'm sure the Kaptain, if peeved enough, will bitch about it to some article writer and have published exactly what pissed him off. Just like he did with Nick and Gunter.

*****raymond would never work with kmfdm again. there was quite a bit of colorful language used to describe him, his personality and his work ethic, and generally painted him in a quite unfavorable light*****The most brilliant minds are often impossible to tame. There are those who will try to break them --but those who do, will only end up breaking themselves.
They can spend all day and all night trying to tame and mold Raymond, they will just end up drunk and blubbering.
Hopefully Mr. Watts does not completely self destruct. That would be an impossible void to fill. The older I get, and I saw him way back in the NIHIL tour, the more I'm realizing his brilliance.
Female hormones are not influencing my commentary. In the past, I have used his lyrics to teach literary elements to my unsuspecting students.

Oh you'd be surprised how much of the California State Standards in the English Language Art division I can kill off using Raymond's lyrics.

i'd really rather not say which member specifically said it.
yes, it was at the chicago show just over a week ago that i heard this. my guess is they're starting to get tired of all the questions about him. besides, diplomacy fades quickly when there's alcohol involved, and sometimes the dirty truth comes out.
i really hope it was just anger flaring and not a definite "no" as it may be.. and i really hope this doesn't kill raymond's motivation. i'd hate to see him fade away.

It's understandable...the part where the other band members are getting tired of questions about Raymond. I'd suspect, and adding alcohol to the equation, that the bitterness builds up.
Perhaps they just all need space and time away from each other. A band, as much as Raymond hates that concept he is a member of it, is a relationship.

After I read this post I was listening to Hau Ruck, and this came to me in a flash of ignorance. Maybe it's about raymond, or maybe its not.
Feel the paranoia!
The biggest mistake was to let you near me I'm speaking to you but you won't ever hear me Close to the touch but aeons away On a distant planet on another day
I thought we were even I hoped it was cool Your guilty pleasures made you a fool I extended it all but you turned it to dreck You keep trashing my name and stabbing my back
I shall not be terrorized You will pay for all those lies
And every day's a good day to die Fucka, fucka, die, mutha fucka, bye-bye
A spewing volcano of distortion and hate You plead and beg me to spare your fate You evoke our friendship and the days of old But I know a dish that's best served cold
The gleaming blade a muffled cry You won't live to testify
I gave you it all I let you perform You sowed the wind now you'll reap the storm In the coldest blood steady-handed I take no prisoners the eagle has landed
IDIOT!

Spooky how you can make words man whatever you want....We saw KMFDM in Nottingham last night & before the show saw Sascha. He said that Raymond 'might' be at the London gig on sunday...but there did not appear to be any anger, just passive....whatever!!!!!. I'll let you know after the sunday gig in London....

Yeah...After I read your comment, that was the first thing I thought. Guilty pleasures=Heroin. But when did Ray tash Sascha or KMFDM?

what does the word tash mean ? Is it a US word meaning something along the lines of 'piss-off' ?

Yeah...After I read your comment, that was the first thing I thought. Guilty pleasures=Heroin. But when did Ray tash Sascha or KMFDM? I was thinking "guilty pleasures" was referring to him trying to get a quick buck by distributing Pigmartyr with Grand Recordings, but then their poor distribution "made [him] a fool" because it backfired.

Unless Sasha comes out and says the song's about Raymond, then I won't believe that its about him. We aren't Sasha, and since Sasha's pretty vocal whenever interviewed, I'm sure that someone will ask "Who is this song directed to?" And then we'll all know.

I hope that the song isn't about raymond. But if it is I just hope it doesn't stop him. As long as he still makes music I will be a fan, no matter what anyone else says. I hope he knows that he has a fan base of his own.

There's obviously a hell of a lot going on. If it is about him, then there's probably good reason. Otherwise Jules, Andy, and Steve would have ditched his ass

Jules stated quite simply in regen mag "The door's not closed to him, that's for sure."

Steve White wore a <PIG> shirt after the London gig and still has a <PIG> sticker on one of his guitars. Sascha seemed to genuinely believe that Raymond was going to appear at the London gig. I've never heard Jules, Andy or Lucia talk shit about Raymond. Yes Raymond was/is still? an addict. Yes that affects his workrate Yes he could be hard to work with If he was absolutely horrible he wouldn't be on half of KMFDM's albums and PIG would be just him alone. I would rather see full PIG cd come out instead of 3 guest spots on KMFDM cds. We'll get what we get. I've seen the KMFDM/PIG show now I want to see just PIG someday then I'll be fully content.

During the Dudley gig Steve wore his PIG t-shirt also...I asume he washed it before the London gig a couple of days later ?

Maybe we should call him stinky Steve ? Surely they have some sort of 'slave' person to do laundry & stuff like that ?
