Okay, I've always meant to throw in a new post to this thread, but it takes so long, I always put it off. I'm heavily sedated on perscription medications right now, so I guess I have the time to finally tackle this exhaustive post.
I recently completed my Pig collection, a fete I once considered impossible. I literally have every single item I was ever after. If I don't own it, there's a 99% chance it's because I have no desire to own it (ie Hit Parade, Psychic TV, Neubauten, KMFDM rarites, etc) My goal was basically every major version of every Pig release, every remix, every significant collaboration/guest appearance (programming, bass, etc don't count to me as anything significant enought to hunt down). All items are original, owned copies. No MP3s (except of course the noted MP3 list). There are other items I *would* own, but nothing I particularly aspire to obtain anymore. My wallet rejoyces...

Various other random/pointless stuff:
I have copies of all of Pig's videos as well.
I hate bootlegs. I've been given some free in the past, and I've thrown them away after awhile. Just don't like them, for whatever reason (no big political stance against them, just not my thing).
I have countless Pig/Pig-related promo materials. Posters, postcards, stickers, flyers, advertisements, photos, press sheets, etc.
I've seen Pig live once. Seen Ray with KMFDM twice. Met Raymond in person once. Met Steve White in person once. Interviewed Raymond via phone in London once.
I've seen all sorts of Pig oddities/rarities in person that I don't own myself. Weird promos, test pressings, etc, etc.
I know of at least a couple people with bigger Pig collections than me. Scary, I know.
Lastly, some pointless trivia, because drugs make me not want to get up:
Most I paid for any item: Red Raw And Sore - approx $55. Before the Cleo re-release, it was extrememly sought-after (Poke/Stroll level). It was a sealed copy I found. I think I paid almost as much for the Shit For Brains CD. Hard to remember. Otherwise, the majority of my collection I paid way less than those prices.
Many of my rarest items (promos mostly) were either obtained free or at very little cost. (Probably 85% of the collection was paid for fair and square though.)
Greatest personal scores: Poke (US) and Poke (JP). Both found for $8 used, though many years apart. Schaft 12" - I think I paid under $20 for it. I've gotten endless high-end offers for it, but not from Pig fans ironically. Usually electronic music fanatics after the remixes, presumably for DJ-ing purposes.
Worst pains in the ass for me to track down (either due to rarity, or just finding at a price I was willing to pay): Poke (JP), Hello Hooray white label, Schaft video, D.I.E. (oddly enough, even though it's much easier to find now).
Collection took me approx. 8-9 years to assemble. Almost a higher price than the cash itself was the amount of time and effort spent hunting it all down. Mission accomplished, I'm done.
Some other very impressive collections in here. I'm always impressed when I see someone with an item I don't own
Happy hunting, pigs
