They have a page on Comics3Film.com of photoshopped pictures into comic characters, who would Raymond be?
www.comics2film.com/DCG/index.php
Ok the point of this thread is to... 1. Find a character or characters that Raymond would match 2. Find someone to do some Photoshop work no matter how ghetto and get it posted on site above

Isn't the Lord of Lard a comic-sounding name, anyway? But I'd say the Punisher's pretty close.... Justice with violence.

The Simping* Detective, Judge Jack Point of The Judge Dredd Megazine obscurity. Drinks, smokes, wears a coat and a big hat, and lugs a big revolver around. Oh and in his debut story, he used a guitar to disintgrate the Raptaur that was attacking him, so he's clearly musically talented too. Here he is, extorting drugs from a child: * A 'Simp', in the Mega City lingo, is someone who dresses conspicuously in order to be noticed.

Yeah, I really don't see him as an upstanding "do gooder". (Superman, Batman, The Hulk) He'd defiantly be more an anti-hero type. (Dredd, Punisher, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac) If anything I think the combo-characters they did would best suit him. Maybe....The Punisher when he got infected with Venom's symbiote? Sorry for my moment of Geekdom. It's impossible to not get caught up in it when half of your friends are avid collectors.

The Punisher when he got infected with Venom's symbiote? Now we're talking! I can picture him in that role. I've been a moderate Punisher fan since I got Amazing Spider-Man 129 for 0.50 in a used desk store in the 80s. (I'm a pretty big Spider-Man fan)

It was either Venom's or Carnage's. But I do remember that he was blowing the utter shit out of everything. I'll have to jack the book from my friend.

Both Carnage and Venom has funky personalities like Raymond.

Yeah, but Carnage's personality came from a deranged serial killer. The symbiote just enhanced that insanity and let him release his fustrations on the world.

I've always thought Raymond was very Yohji Kudo. I suppose "Weiss Kreuz" is more popular as an anime than a comic though. There is a manga. Have a look for yourselves anyway. www.kirei-na-yume.de/gallery/yohji/body_yohji.htmlYes, "Weiss Kruez" is a horrible series, and I will not defend it. --lovelove

Bearing in mind his elusive-ness...how about the 'invisible man'. By the way...I've noteiced an awful lot of nerdy-ness infecting this chatroom.....perhaps the site should be scanned for viruses etc ??

You're not ;D I actually used to own the first US DVD release of it but wound up having to sell it in a time of financial need. I still kick myself over that decision. It was also a manga, which ADV did an English translation of, and I own If I ever find a DVD copy of it again, I'm buying it! So what did you think of it, btw? NP

I think it's painfully obvious to all concerned that, if Raymond was a comic character, he would, in fact, be this guy, Tomas de Torquemada: Reference: Situation*, and also Never For Fun, but I don't have an image for the quote contained therein. * Finally, an opportunity to use my spell chack powers for good: 'time I' is not spelt 'timeli' (All the timeli tried to breathe) and it's 'vigilant' not 'vigilante', which is an entirely different thing.

Unfortunatly, I loaned it to a gimp friend and he dropped out of ITT Tech. I haven't seen that or my Seven Kingdoms Game.

Raymond would be The Lord Of Lard, Mayor of Scumsberg, Peoria. He would rule this "Sick City" with an iron hooved fist, and a grunt and oink like no other swine. I drew this a few weeks ago and though it would be quite appropriate. ;D

Wow.
Just... wow.
And that's in a good, awed, "damn-I-wish-I-had-that-sort-of-artistic-talent" way.
Finally relocated my copy of the Darkside Blues manga, and have acquired a copy of the second edition of the US anime release, so once I find where I put my scanner and find a good program to take stills from DVDs, I shall produce images of Darkside. "Behold the birth of a woman the color of darkness"....
