Tell us about your experience was like meeting him. Tell us what you talked about, etc...
I met him before the Tampa WW3 Show in 2003 during the Horde Meet and Greet... I was anxious to get to the show early for the meet and greet. I drank most of a bottle of wine on the way there. I got there and talked with a few people with horde shirts on (I wore my <PIG> shirt). We went into the meet and greet I and I asked Andy where Raymond was, I told him I wanted to talk to him about making a PIG website (forgetting the all mighty sickly city) he went then went and got him. Andy came back saying he'd be coming. I asked about PIG touring and Andy and Steve said they would tour for cheap but it would be expensive to get Raymond on tour. I talked with Sascha for a while he was sick but a gentleman in great spirits. Raymond came in and his was bum rushed. I waited in the biggest line of the meet and greet then. I snuck a bottle of red wine in and gave it to Raymond as a gift in appreciation of his music. He said hell yeah, not knowing if he had a cork screw which he didn't I gave him one as well. He asked me what I thought of the Schwein remix cd which I hadn't heard yet, he said it was total crap and that the members in Japan were fucking around with it and didn't let Sascha and him work on it which they should have let happend. I asked him about Japan and he said he's been there many times but he didn't want to live there due to not wanting to die in one of the many earthquakes. I told him I had interest in making a PIG site due to the lack of a real good one online, he was into the idea and I gave him my business card. People had started a line behind me then and got anxious so I let them get their time in. I met him after the show which I really enjoyed. Seeing as Raymond didn't drink on stage as he did during the show I the prior year I presumed that he enjoyed the wine which he did I was going to talk to him more outside but his girlfriend called

bleh....i've never meant him when i saw kmfdm in november 2003, i didnt even know their names let alone what the looked like. me and KMFDMclaire were standing under this awning thing (it was pouring!) waiting for the doors to open and we were looking in the glass doors and we didnt even know we were looking at Jules,Raymond, and Andy. haha...and when we were standing in line Sascha and Lucia came out from the venue and went onto the bus and they both said "hey" to everyone as they passed but I didnt even know who they were. I just thought they were part of the crew or something. We were kicking ourselves in the ass when they took the stage though. haha... well theres my KMFDM experience...

I was on the KMFDM show in Hamburg 2004 and it was a great show but I missed one person. Watts! At the Tour Bus who parked behind the venue I was the only person who waited for the Band. But i only met Andy of KMFDM because the others were just at the Sound Check. Andy, who has a new punk haircut, was very nice. We talked about the Tour and he told me that Raymond is promoting his Watts stuff in London. It was the first time I had a meet and greet with a Member of a famous Band. After that great show, but I have to say that the opening Band really sucked, I went back to the Tour Bus. I wanted to buy the new DVD at the venue, but they hadn't one copy so I bought me a worker, buttons and stickers. I waited no 30 minutes whan I saw that the backdoor was open and went right up the stairway to the backstage room, knocked on the door, which was also open but i wanted to be polite, a crew member opened the door, I explained that I'm a huge KMFDM Fan and want some signs of the members. One Second to the other I stood in Front of Sascha and I spoke first to him in english I was so fucking upset! Sascha smiled and said "Wie geht's?" In that moment I only wanted to smash my head to the wall. He signed the sticker, we talked a bit about the show and the next KMFDM Album and next Tour. Then he talked with the members of the opening band. I went to the other room where Steve and Jules sat at a table. I asked both for a sign. Steve asked me why I didn't brought my sister backstage because they need some girls. ;D Funny guy. Jules went to the Tour Bus. Then Andy came into the room and recognized me again. He also signed the sticker. I have to say the sticker is black with KMFDM on it in white but they all signed with a black edding. I searched for Lucia but I didn't saw her. The Crew Member, which is also on the Sturm und Drang DVD, I don't remember his name, told me that she took a shower. After a while standing in the room Lucia came into the room and said a very kind "Hi". She asked me "Wie heißt Du?" and signed the fucking sticker I told her that her Solo record is great and i mean that serious. She was surprised and very grateful that I bought the record. I felt like I was standing beneath me and I had no fucking clue about what I could talk with KMFDM anymore while they were talking with each other so I felt that the Time was right to go. I said buy with handshakes and Sascha promised that it wouldn't take 8 years touring again in Germany. Maybe not one year. Going downstairs I thought about the 20 Minutes I spent with KMFDM when I met Jules. We spoke 10 minutes in the dark stairway about his equipment and the reason he started to play guitar. He and Andy want to have a drink with me next time but I can't imagine that they will remember allthough I was one of 3 Fans backstage. The only sad thing of meeting KMFDM is the surcimstance that Raymond was not there because I had the chance to talk with him if he had been there. Sorry for faults in my English, I'm just a Kraut. I've just seen KMFDM in London (& Nottingham) & whilst waiting in the pub next to the Astoria (which as we all know is the venue next to the Meanfiddler & a massive porn shop - apparently) In walks Raymond, Sacha, Lucia & the rest of KMFDM. I thought this was hilarious as no-one else in the pub knew who they were. Could I miss this opportunity to say hi ? Nope. Raymond was at the bar & so I thought it only polite to return years of PIG freedom through the CD's with a drink. Unfortunately for me, he was buying a beer for Sacha as well so I obliged, & handed over my pennies. We talked about why he wasn't singing with the band & about the new KMFDM DVD. Advised I had it & Raymond looked a 'bit of a dick'!! Who says honesty isn't the best policy. He was also genuinly suprised that I'd taken half a day off from work to see the band...what a nice guy. Until next time...

I am in Australia, so the only chance I will ever have to meet Raymond Watts is if he either comes to Australia (unlikely) or I go overseas (also unlikely). But I have talked to him over email once.

I had a chance to meet Raymond on June 29th 2002 in St Louis on the Sturm And Drang tour. While 16 Volt was playing he was walking around on the outskirts of the crowd. I was going to go try to talk to him but didn't really know what to say and didn't want to shout over the music. Guess that I blew that chance, but when ever the Watts tour starts I will definitly not do it again.

Meeting Raymond was an interesting experience. Before we approached him, we saw him turning away an underage groupie, saying something about how he didn’t “make a habit of sleeping with sixteen year olds”. Then he got to chatting up a girl about the same age at the bar. My friend and I didn’t get a chance to talk very long as they were getting ready to leave and the band was being called back to the bus, but we did get to listen to him ramble on about not doing body signings. I offered him a dollar for his black hat, which he, shockingly enough, turned down (how could he?!) and we got a quick picture before he had to run. It was fun watching him practically clean out the bar, too.

i met ray in atlanta on the ww3 tour. was the first time i had seen kmfdm. i had been talking with jeff from the kmfdm site (he was shocked i knew who he was and called him out by name). jeff gave me and my girlfriend all access passes but we missed the meet and greet. after the show we stood around and i gotto meet sacha, and ray. everyone else had left for the after party. ray was glad i purchased a pig shirt cause he said "no one was buying the damn things" we talked for about 5-10 minutes then i moved on to talk to sacha. mostly we talked about them comming to nashville and booking shows. sacha said that nashville didnt have as good a draw as atlanta, but said they would be comming to nashville on the next east coast run. one of the guys we met standing in line and after the show had brought sacha a talking g.w. bush doll. which sacha began to disfigure with his sharpie. the guys were so nice about just hanging around and talking to me. i hope i get to meet them again soon, and dont have to drive 500 miles to do it =)

I'm going to embarrass myself now.
A friend and I went to see KMFDM on the Sturm & Drang tour. At this point I'd been a fan of KMFDM for about 10 years. But I didn't know who these PIG people were. I knew they'd worked with KMFDM, but I somehow managed to not know anything about anyone in the band besides Sascha. It's really strange.
So they finally get on stage and I think Marilyn Manson has gotten lost or been traded for Skold. A few seconds later I fall in lust with the tall guy in the cowboy hat and as they go on I realize he really sounds like the guy that did the vocals for a lot of those songs. Then Chris Connelly shows up and my friend and I almost run away because we think he's stalking us. We'd just seen him open for Rasputina. I like him much better when he's wearing boots and screaming.
We hung out afterwards to see the band. We'd seen MFDMK and I asked Lucia to kiss one of the girls we were with and I wanted to see if I could get a kiss from Sascha. While we wait some woman with the band brings this girl from the small crowd up to the bus and says, "She's tall, she's thin, and she's quiet. She's perfect for Raymond." Curious/shocked looks were exchanged among the gathered crowd.
Later Sascha came out and was the absolute most nicest person in the world as usual. Got my kiss. We went home. I did my research and figured out who I'd been lusting after and my Raymond Watts obsession started and I've been making up for all those years of never realizing who he was.
And I've been mourning my lack of being tall, thin, and quiet. We saw KMFDM again on the last tour but couldn't figure out where they went afterwards so I didn't have get a chance to get all fangirlish with Watts. Probably for the best.

Ya know what? I have met Ray a few times...Yes, I'm a chick and the first time was in 1996 or 1997...I didn't know what he looked like either...(I have always been way more into PIG than KMFDM)I too absolutely freaked when I saw him and then FREAKED even more when I figured out HE was RAYMOND WATTS. Went drinking with the band and talked with his brother Mike (who did the organ/keyboard on Angel) who looks very similar to Ray. Ended up getting way too drunk and sucking face with Andy at 230am. (A long goodbye kiss I guess?) Everyone told him to leave me alone and they left town.. ANYHOO Since then my crush has grown to obscene proportions with tshirts cds and dvds to boot.. However, the truth shall set you free... I have learned that Ray was married, now divorced with a couple of cutie-pies. NOW I have met a lot of people in my day, and I am a single Mom . Which probably inspires my opinions greatly. I personally have a hard time believing that he is a father of somebody's children. True I do not know him personally, but with the facts I know I REALLY don't think that I would want to. Musicians SUCK to be in relationships with. Touring, drugs, sex, alcohol, etc.. And he has admitted to it all. Now I am not makng any type of a comment about what kind of DAD he is. Because I do not know. What I do know is that I would like to meet and personally thank his Mum and Dad for creating the greatest masterpiece of Male Artwork know to the human race. (His brother is beautiful as well) But given the honest facts a relationship with him would totally SUCK. But one night..... Hmmmm..... Kristi MasterHairMechanic

I met Ray after the Austin show during the Sturm & Drang tour. Not much really to say except that I kind of pulled a wayne's world and pretty much called him my god. He laughed and took a bow then we chatted for a few minutes.
Nothing really noteworthy for you guys, but it was heaven on earth for me

I met him on the Sturm und Drang tour.
I saw them in a few different cities that year. The first show I went to, I was walking around back and I saw Sascha, so I walked up to him and told him how I loved his music and thank you for making it. And I asked if I could shake his hand, to which he replied "No." and then he walked off. So, I was afraid to try and meet any of the other band members that day.
So the next show about two weeks later, I saw Sascha standing outside the bus. I walked over towards him and he yelled at me from a distance that he remembered me from the other city. Then he went on to apologize to me about it, and told me that he had just woken up and was just really grouchy right then. So, I thought that was pretty cool of him. During the show, we met a few people that were going to the show the next night, and asked if we could get a ride with them to it and they said yes. After the show, I talked to Sascha again and told him that i was going to the show the next night. So, I wrote my name on his arm because he didn't have paper. And he put me on the guest list for the next night. My girlfriend decided to go home, so I went alone to the next show.
The next show was at a bowling alley in Omaha. Yeah, it's the bowling alley that's on the tour dvd. After the show I was talking to Sascha again, and I mentioned something about being stranded in Omaha, and without hesitation he grabbed his wallet and gave me $100. Then he told me to get on the bus because they are going to take me to their hotel and let me stay there because they were just stopping to shower and shit, and they were not sleeping there. So, I get on the bus and I'm finally meeting all the other band members. I talk to them for a bit and then some other kid came on the bus. He was there because he had pot. So, I ended up smoking pot with 5 of the six members of the band.
Finally, Raymond comes strolling on the bus, and Sascha tells him that I had been following them around, so Raymond sat down next to me. We talked for 30 minutes or so about his music, various other bands, how it was working for Einsturzende Neubauten, his upcoming divorce. I showed him pictures of the first show I went to. This show Raymond was very drunk in. And he didn't want to keep his clothes on either. He stripped down to nothing but his codpiece and teased the crowd for a while. He ended up mooning us several times. I took a lot of pictures of that striptease, so I thought I would show him. He thought they were pretty funny because he said he didn't remember that night at all. I had another picture that I was kinda afraid to show him cause I didnt want to make him mad, but I decided to show it to him. It was a picture of his half erect penis when he took it out of the codpiece. I hadn't ever noticed that he had done that, but I guess I snapped a picture at the right time. Anyway, he laughed hard about the picture and made sure that everyone in the band saw it. They all just laughed it up.
That's pretty much it. We got to the hotel soon after and they took showers and took off and I went to bed.
One other thing worth noting. At one point on the bus, Lucia got out a bunch of concert pictures that some fan gave her. She was laughing about how horrible they were and she tore them up and threw them away.

I don't know of many other bands or performs that will spend time with there fans unless their record company rigged it. Raymond and the whole KMFDM/PIG family deserve respect for appreciating their fans. I've seen almost 100 bands and they are the only band as a whole that appreciates their fans.

I met him on the WWIII tour with one of my bandmates. We gave him our then current CD and he yaked our ears off. He was really cool. I was in contact with him for a while after that, (he lost the CD and wanted another one, other business ends, etc...) but now his email address is non-functioning and I haven't talked to him for a while. I think he's kind of flakey, but he's nice as hell

during Sturm & Drang 2002, raymond came stumbling off the tour bus, he'd just woken up, and was mumbling "bloody hell... bloody heat... bloody georgia... bloody heat..." and i flagged him down and we started talking about Georgia and he mentioned the heat and i explained to him that Florida (their next stop) was 10-15 degrees warmer... his response "bloody south..."
boom.

I met him at the shows I went to. He's in a great mood about the shows so far. Everyone gets along great on and off stage from what I've heard and saw. All I gotta say is if you want to hear older songs keep bugging him, hell we got Junky in Tallahassee FL which is a real good start consider it was the 3rd show!
