I was going to hold off on posting these until a new picture was done, but it looks like it's going to be a good few months before that happens, for various reasons. So what the hell, might as well post 'em now and come back to it whenever it does get done, eh? First: I posted this on in another thread around here already. Sent it to Watts when I still had a myspace and got a response. [cue intense fist pumping]

Forgot to note- I'm going to do this one pic per post to hopefully avoid a clutterfest, since most of them are fairly large. Second: Drawn while listening to Schaft- Thirsty Fly. The guy looks a little like Stan Lee. Totally unintentional.

Third: Sort of an... excessively lumpy caricature of Watts. Doesn't really look much like him, but whatever. Started as a quick doodle while I was waiting for something and listening to It Tolls for Thee; the song always gives me a mental image of him freaking the fuck out while singing it.

Fourth: Last of the BRUTE style inspired ones. I get on a kick every now and then where I draw in that style almost exclusively for a month or so; almost always results in something PIG-related. Go figure. Picture was inspired by the chorus of Arbor Vitae. I fucked up heavily in part of it, which is the reason for that giant black space under the baldo. Also, the sun/cloud formation on the right was meant to be a little reference to the Naive cover.

and Fifth: Last and most recent so far. While once again waiting for something, I was listening to Ego Head on repeat and started doodling whatever came to mind. Some of it was inspired by the song, some wasn't. The colors are all colored pens; the first friend I showed it to saw it digitally first and asked why I apparently couldn't afford a peach colored pencil. Heh. Was also my first time doing something substantial with colored pens. I think it turned out pretty alright. Also, the lyrics all over the place have nothing to do with... well, anything in the picture, really. Just some lines that stood out.

I wouldn't mind some non-piggy stuff to look at too.

Thanks, guys. Wow!!!!! I love those! I can't wait to see the whole collection! I wish you lots of luck with your art! It has really improved over the months! Actually, those were done over the course of a few years. First two are from 2007, second two are from 2008 (OneIsForFun might be '09, not sure), and EGOHEAD was done a couple months before Dog was released. I wouldn't mind some non-piggy stuff to look at too. Alright. Ten non-piggly pics: Y'allnWHAT?The ViolatorHorns Hand -> FaceWIGOH?Evildude101LilyCancer as a supervillainReastrangedMonkeybrigadeNow in link form 'cause this thread would otherwise take years to load!

Todd McFarlane was my favorite comic artist. Loved what he did with Spidey and the Hulk. I remember picking up the first Spawn issue during the summer that it came out at a grocery store. Quite and epic start to the Image comic brand back then.

He's my favorite comic artist, as well. I'd recommend looking into the Spawn Collection series sometime if you still have an interest in it and some money to blow. Think each volume goes for about... $20 or so, paperback and new. Six volumes total.
