...and it made me curious about a couple things.
1. It came with a white and pink thing in addition to the booklet, that appears to be a big-ass Japanese/English lyric sheet. Is that a common thing with albums recorded in English? I only have two other albums from Japan; one was bought used and one has no actual lyrics, so I have no idea.
2. Is the front cover supposed to be pink and white(ish)?

Well, really, the only question either would answer is #2, but yeah, I checked theswining and there's nothing about it there. Even looked on the forums for something about it, but didn't find anything. Totally forgot about H0GW1LD3's site until now (and thanks for the reminder), but there's nothing about it there, either. I'm guessing it's either supposed to be that way or my copy had some fuckup when the booklet was printed, 'cause the dark parts don't look faded any. Everything else in it is colored correctly.

...Figured I should probably take a couple pics so you can actually see what I'm jabbering about. >_> Front- It's less pink in this picture than it looks in person. And the back- Aside from the little pink border around it, it's colored normally. I also noticed last night, during my quick little scour of theswining's forums, that I might have another possible anomaly in my collection. I've always heard (and seen) that the Concrete release of Praise the Lard had a blue circle logo and a red-tinted cover. Well, mine has the red circle/blue tint, but the correct tracklist on the back, so I figured I just had a Cleopatra copy. Never really paid much attention to it; just happy to have a copy at all, y'know? Front. Back of the booklet. I just don't even know anymore, man.

To me the Concrete release of Praise the Lard is a far better piece of work as the inlay is high quality and Cleopatra isn't that good at making products overall.

I've paid for a couple of Japanese CD's. Lyric booklets are very very common. Even American CD's that are manufactured in Japan.

Huh, neat. I was going to say I wish it were common here, but The Mighty Intrawebs would make it a bit pointless, I think. To me the Concrete release of Praise the Lard is a far better piece of work as the inlay is high quality and Cleopatra isn't that good at making products overall. Aye, from what I've read and heard about it, I'd be inclined to agree. As far as their overall product quality goes, the only thing from Cleopatra that I own, that I'm aware of, is The Swining/Red Raw & Sore, which I thought was just fine. Even gave us Raymond in a Piggy Mouse hat!
