we do have 'a little more' freedom but your weather (mostly) makes me enyous hence why I visit USA every other year or so. Unfortunately it's normally for a 'tourist' holiday with my partner. Alot of americans are very friendly & always seem happy to help. That just annoys me when we get back home to 'some' obnoxious attitude-riddled englanders. However, we also have PWEI

Goddamnit. You got me there. Let us know when and where you visit the states. Perhaps some hangout/pigfest time would be in order. If its anywhere near Connecticut, myself and my pretend husband would gladly show you the lack of sights.

Well... after much debate in my head, I finally preordered it. I need to start getting a coffee can and tape "Vienna fund" to the side. Only $720 to go....

Vienna, as in Italy ? It's a slum. Don't waste your money. Just my opinion of course, sorry all you [Vienna-ese people who may have been offended

1) Vienna's in Austria. Everyone speaks German. Not Italian. 2) I'm going to sing at Mozart's 250th bday bash for a week. And drink Absenthe (if I can find it). 3) I've never been off continent. 4) (I'm also still in debt for next semester... eek).

"Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder". I have a bottle at home & its 85% proof. It's like really strong mouth-wash that evaporates before you've swallowed it No commments ladies please....

I don't understand proof, its just the %alchahol then doubled. Why make it more complicated? 42.5% alch or 85% proof? what? Silly americans

I got some 55% absinth when I was in germany. you should be able to find some in austria. Also, there is this brand of austrian liquor(I don't remember the name) that comes in 3 varaities which is pretty good. One of them is blue and is called Gletschereis another is black and has a picture of a devil on the bottle and the 3rd is red with a mountain or volcano on it. they all come with a book of matches because they intend for you to light the drink before taking it (it is 50% alcohol). The red is probably the best with the blue one behind it(it has rock candy attached to the inside of the bottle to make it look like frost) and then the black one isn't that great, but they are all worth a try.

Yummy...maybe the matches are for your cremation after you've drunk all 3 bottles ?
