I assume you're suggesting that logo design is an immatation of something you've done? It was made out in Los Angeles by an independent artist, who I can assure you has never seen any of your work. He's designed a couple Pig logos over the years. The same guy made the black and white blur logo ages ago (seen as my avatar to the left).

Then why advertise it AFTER the tour was canned?

they're thinking of adding some in studio footage to it to make it complete... according to one of the mafia at the swining they didn't think there was enough backstage footage yet. they'll still advertise it because it's still in the works, and let's face it, it's really the only thing going on in the PIG camp right now.

With the way things are going these days, I'm guessing at least a year. I would guess at '2007' to coiincide with the new album & tour. Where better to sell a tour DVD, than at/after a gig ?

The dvd production has been finished. It is awaiting Raymond's final approval and once a release date is set you'll know!

Update from Sean via The Swining message board:
"The DVD, or lack thereof, is 100% my fault. After I finished the edit, I started running into compression problems with the video. One thing lead to another, I got really, really frustrated and finally said 'forget it' for awhile. We didn't have enough for a proper DVD anyway, sadly. There's some excellent live footage though. For the record, Raymond's never had the master footage at his disposal to release. He's seen a good chunk of my edit, but not all of it. I never got all the stuff onto DVD for him, due to many technical issues on my end.
I *will* send it to him at some point, hopefully sooner than later. I have masters and everything ready to ship. But at this point, I'd say a proper DVD release for that footage is grim. I think it's best suited to be held over for something better, and done right (ie by pros - and not me).
So that one's my fault completely. The plus side is I have the final Pig show (at this time, anyway) in full, Charlie M's very first (only?) interview, lots of other candid, brief stuff. When I get my mess all sorted out, I'd be happy to have some of that hosted online, if Mr. Lard is ever up for it. We'll see what the future holds. Pay no attention to the lack of updates, I'm sure Pig will be back full force when the proper moment presents itself."

*blinks* Didn't that douchebage last say (before he dropped off the face of the earth) he had ALREADY sent the master for Raymond's approval? UGH. I HAVE EDITING EXPERIENCE. I HAVE A BACHELORS OF SCIENCE IN COMMUNICATION AND TELEVISION PRODUCTION. I COULD HAVE DONE SOME THING IN THE THREE MONTHS I HAVE BEEN UNEMPLOYED AND WOULD HAVE DONE THIS FOR F R E E ! ! ! *breathes* I guess we now know what's going on. I just wish there was a better outcome to this tragedy... Perhaps in the end, I can get that footage for free and make my own dvd. *update* Okay after much thought, I realize that this outcome isn't as bad or annoying as previously thought. I mean, we could end up with a free DVD, perhaps? I will not judge too harshly... I just wish a message was out sooner so I could offer my contributions. At this point in my life I have no time (or money) to work on this project now... but I did a few months ago, and that just frustrates me a bit. ThePigPen is a good guy and I have no personal issue against him... Just his lack of... doing... stuff....

To me it is more *fill in the blank with your word of choice* that people didn't take up my invitation to fly into Florida for the first gig of the tour and crash with me and friends. If they then wanted to they could have come along with us as we toured form Fort Lauderdale to Tampa to Tallahassee. It was a truly epic journey that we went on. The tour did start off with a Bang in Fort Laud and Tampa with some sparks occurring at the Talla Gig.

Dude, some have non-disposable income to that sort of deal. DVD is cheaper than bus or plane ticket.

A month worth of starvation isn't worth it? I do believe that it would be so. I would feed visiting pigs as well.
