1 CENT CD: Pig & Sow (goth poets) 'Je M'Aime' 1999
I've bought from these people and they are great. Here is their great review of this cd...
One review reads 'WARNING: This CD is not for the timid or easily impressionable. I am wholly convinced that this recording, were it to find its way into the mainstream, would be very dangerous in the wrong hands. Anna Wildsmith (Sow) and Raymond Watts (Pig) combine their sinister artistry on this diabolical landscape of aural amphetamines, bringing us (the unsuspecting) to a new level of listening. "Je m'aime" is not background music. It won't allow itself to be. The haunting, atmospheric emptiness of Watts Engulfs Wildsmith's hypnotic spoken-word poetry in a dense, sonic fog. The two entities illumine a pathway, leading the listener to the thin line between reality and where the mind begins to play tricks on us. The Result: an unsettling, peek over the edge at what lies just underneath this world's surface; different, yet, not entirely foreign like the man you think that you recognize standing in the back of the photograph. This CD has unnatural powers past the normal realms of musically evoked emotions. Let it inside and it will hurt you, confuse you, intrigue you, and leave you afraid to look any closer. Don't believe me? Buy the CD... Lie back... Close your eyes... I'll not be held responsible. ;,
