Unless Sasha comes out and says the song's about Raymond, then I won't believe that its about him. We aren't Sasha, and since Sasha's pretty vocal whenever interviewed, I'm sure that someone will ask "Who is this song directed to?" And then we'll all know. i asked KMFDM via myspace since it is answered by Sascha and the gang and the response i got was: Raymond and KMFDM are not on bad terms... The Ultra Heavy Beat is full of untruths and rumors. Thanks for your support, KMFDM

That's what I understood...but Sascha must get a little pissed off when people are always asking him about Raymond ?

every musician is also in PR. of course he's not going to come out and say "no way" about it! not many musicians like to burn bridges that badly. they have their parroted response and they give it to anyone who annoys them with the same question over and over again. you only get the real truth when they let their guard down... which is next to never.

But then again, it could be anyone who's posting shit in the UHB forums saying that they are Kaptain K or Andy or any of them.
As far as Kaptain K goes, he seems to change his mind often... which leads me to believe that he does the same with Raymond. I guess we will find out on the next PIG album... or KMFDM album...If Sasha has an issue with somebody, it seems that he will come right out and say it. Even if that person has fans... Look at Nick, for example. The two of them bash eachother in and out of song. They completely ignore that most slick fans are kmfdm fans too.

If there is any animosity between KMFDM and PIG, than that is truly a shame. But, as someone posted earlier, most fans will still listen to both projects. I remember being at the pigface show over the summer, and seeing the KMFPF (kill motherfucking pigface) shirt at their merchandise booth. I know it was a cheep-shot, and I bought it even though I'm a huge KMFDM fan. And the crowd still went insane when En Esch sang "Godlike" while on stage with Pigface. So if there is a "falling-out" between KMFDM and Raymond, although it's sad, hopefully it will not impede either of their creativity.

Never is such a long time and hearing something while you were "lit" doesn’t constitute as any real message other than you are an unreliable source for information... and quick to dress a rumor up as truth.
Kisses...

being "lit" doesn't alter my memory at all. anything coming from anyone's mouth when they are saying things in anger are always going to be unreliable. i was sharing rumor and using THEIR words, not mine. we've already all agreed this info from the angry source is either exaggerated or not likely to be truth for long.
how 'bout you catch up on the history here before lashing out at a long time member, eh?

well, as was stated so clearly by miss swine, she was just passing a rumor... and a sad rumor indeed. but, my love for KMFDM will not be tarnished by any ill feelings for raymond... altho, my fav KMFDM tracks, are always raymond tracks... so i do fear for their quality down the road.
altho hau ruck had a number of tracks i enjoyed, it just is never the same without my man raymond watts.

Although the three piggies where part of the new album, I wonder if they're still a part of Pig after all this?

Although the three piggies where part of the new album, I wonder if they're still a part of Pig after all this? Well, there is that new interview that was linked over at the UHB, here's the relevent portion of the interview: <MrDM>: You've collaborated with many historical industrial bands such as Einsturzende Neubauten, Foetus and Psychic TV. Are there any up-and-coming artists out there today that you could see yourself working with? Do you see yourself eventually putting together a new band to perform Pig material live?
<RW>: I haven't seen any green shoots yet, I don't know. Nothing has jumped up and grabbed me around the throat recently. As for the live band, not as yet, no. So Raymond is either 1) going to continue with the piggies we all know and like/love/etc.; 2) they're all in negotiations and trying to work out such niceties as future tour schedules; 3) there was a presumably amicable end to the most recent incarnation of PIG, the piggies have become a permanent part of KMFDM, and Raymond will look for new performers at some future point. Based on the way MrDrumMachine's question is phrased ("a new band"), I'm thinking #3, but based on the answer's phrasing, "not as yet", it may be #2. The entire interview is here: www.supercoolnothing.com/interviewspig.htmNP

I also have to chose number 3. I think that 'the piggies' are established with KMFDM now & it would not be too nice for them to leave as the KMFDM machine is running well. All Sascha does is KMFDM...touring & writing, so I cannot see there's too much time for any of them to (temporarily) leave to join RW. My guess is that the 3 new songs on Pigmata are the 1st 3 written for a new CD...out in about a years time, & then a short tour to see how it goes, before RW commits to a longer tour. That's just a guess tho & I have no info. to back up my guess !!!

The latest KMFDM Kommunication states that KMFDM is already in the pre-production stages of a new project/album.... the official PIG myspace meantions "Band members" flying into America... Is this wishful thinking on my part... or can I continue my wet dream?

People argue. People get pissed off with each other. People make nicey. I've seen feuds rise and fall over the years between the same sets of people over and over. Even if they did have a moment of shit-spouting about Raymond, it doesn't need to stick. Minds change. It's a volatile thing when you're dealing with egos - inherent in music performance.
As for Raymond, he doesn't publicly slag people just because of this. Some people think this is a sign of his being unaware of what people do or say to or about him. Couldn't be further from the truth. Why fuel a small fire instead of letting it burn itself out?

A very good point. The world isn't built so that everyone can get along. So its natural for people to have spats with longtime friends.
