I just browsed over Jules Hodgson's Bio on KMFDM.com and here is an interesting recording technic he revealed...
Do you have a most memorable story about recording with KMFDM?
Raymond was laying down vocals to some track or other, but he couldn't get the timing of one particular line right, so we sent Andy into the vocal booth equipped with a freshly sharpened pencil. Every time he jabbed Raymond in the arm with the pointy end it was Raymond’s cue to start singing. Watching people in pain is so much fun!!!

They actually show that in the Making of WWIII on the WWIII live DVD. You can see Andy hitting Raymond in rhythm with the fucking drumstick... it's hallarious.
