I've rarely heard KMFDM on the radio, but did while driving home 8/2/04 on a Gainesville, FL radio station. They played Rip The System but it was a longer version. Have you ever heard KMFDM on the radio. I believe I have heard JJJ on the radio once or twice but not in Jacksonville FL where I live.

my sophmore yr. there was a hostile takeover of the college radio station...so the 7 or 8 kids that listen to industrial (and suave enough to get into the station, by suave i mean not too drunk) were tired of hearing rap, and fixed the situation. other than that, ive never herd kmfdm on the radio.

Sorry, the radio here in South Dakota don't support KMFDM either. If you like country, oldies or 80's to now pop you can give give it a whirl. Other than that I guess that the best concert that has been through here besides Tool was NIN 9 years ago. Later...

Ahh Gainesville. Thats where I went into debt buying Pig, KMFDM and Einsturzende Neubauten CDs last month because the stores had so many there and the stores where I live have almost none. The FYE near me doesn't even have a little card for Pig CDs. Anyways, I've never heard KMFDM on the radio, but I'm planning on changing that when I go to college.

I haven't been to records stores in Gainesville before, I'll check some out next time I drive thru. I'll probably be in N.Y. NY next month so I'll hunt for music there.

yes i have. back when I lived in seattle there was a radio show called on the edge that played every sunday night from 6 to midnight. It was all industrial. best 6 hours of radio in my opinion. But they would play kmfdm all the time, and when a new cd would come out it would be all over the radio. when schwien was first released that was the first place I heard it. They also gave away tickets to concerts if you could answer misc hard questions about a band. ya for free concerts. Honestly i wouldn't be suprised if it is one of the best radio stations in the world. I'm not talking from an industrail fans perspective, just overall. Every sunday morning they played gospel, sunday night was industrial. during the week, every night at midnight they played local DJ's, every day during rush hour they had a live DJ so you had something interesting to listen to on your way home, they played tons of underground stuff. It was really amazing to hear such a variety of music from one station, and most of it was actual music, not just pop fodder. they did of course play that to. but that just added to the diversity.

Yea, I once tried to take over this kid's radio show at my college here. He played a lot of crappy stuff so I whipped out the KMFDM and some oldies.
