What should we do with the people who joined this forum that never even posted? There are a few dozen and most have their email addresses on their profiles. I can email them all and give them a month to post and delete them. That sounds fair I guess...

That's perfect. If they start posting, then great. If not...Well no loss.

If they just joined recently, they may just be shy, give them a few weeks (especially since it's the holidays and people temporarily disappear during this time of year)... otherwise, a warning and quick deletion sounds perfect.

I love the fact that when ever I do a (valid) mass email to people on the forums atleast 1 person responds that they want off the mailing list how cute is that???

I still say we should delete all the accounts who haven't logged in within the past 3 months.

I assume people are being deleted because you/we need the space ? If not, & as I believe that everyone should keep as many friends as possible - some of you lot are included here...then leave them on. Unless of course you have time to kill...but be pleasant about it, as I think a non'pleasant' e-mail will merely get ignored & percieved to be arrogant !!!!

if HP had deleted me back when i was on my yearish time away from here i may never have registered again. if we don't need the space, what's the point of deleting people?

He's getting rid of those who just sign up and do not post. It's rather lame. Plus: We all knew you had to leave. I remember you talking about being forced to move because one of your jobs where coming to an end.

I remember you talking about being forced to move because one of your jobs where coming to an end. if you call a four year relationship a job then yes, you are correct. my "job" in the hellish hell of southern mississippi was ending very, very badly.. i like to think of hurricane katrina as my personal revenge on my ex. too bad it fucked over so many other good people.
