I read somewhere that if the son of schweinstein was purchased within a set of dates it gave a link to a web page that had 4 or so clips of live schwein tracks via a "schwein player". I was wondering if anyone with the tracks could help me out?. thanks much.

Yeah, like you stated, you needed to download a special "Schwein Player" off the offical Schwein site to play the audio. That was the only format of the audio (no MP3s or anything.) And you couldn't save it, just stream it. I'm sure there was some way to get around that and record the audio (I know there are programs out there to achieve such tasks). The clips were only up very briefly. I had the Schwein Player, but by the time I got my copy of the CD imported, which was right after it came out, the streams were already gone. Like you said, I don't even think they were full tracks, just some clips. I only knew one person who got ahold of the CD in time to actually hear the clips. He said it was nothing too special. But I searched extensively for someone with audio of the stuff, and believe me, no one out there got it, unfortunately A shame, as I myself never got to hear the stuff either. I did get some other goods from the Schwein site before it closed though. They posted all sorts of live pictures from Schwein Fest, which I grabbed. And they even posted test artwork for Son Of Schweinstein *very* briefly, but it was immediately pulled at the request of the guy who did the drawings. But not before I snagged those too There was talk of a live DVD of Schwein Fest, but it never happened. I know most of the dates (all?) of the tour were filmed.
