Trent Reznor starts work on a new Nine Inch Nails album in 2012 www.side-line.com/news_comments.php?id=47149_0_2_30_CIn an interview with BBC Radio One Trent Reznor has said that he plans to spend quite some time in 2012 working on a new Nine Inch Nails material. News? Not really, we noticed a post by Trent on the Nine Inch Nails forum earlier this year that already said the same thing. The funny thing is though that Trent plays the media game on BBC Radio One by first answering the following: "I need to commit to doing something different, and that doesn't mean I'm not going to return to that [Nine Inch Nails] at some point. But I find myself pushed and pulled back into the same routine of album, tour, album, tour, album, tour, while a list of things I'd like to try and do in life sits untouched on the table." Later on his answer was clear though and confirmed what he already posted in the NIN forum: "For sure. I plan on spending a good portion of this year coming up writing with that in mind. Let's see what happens."

This should be interesting. It took my a while to really appreciate his post-90s work (mainly because of the lyrics), but I recently got into it more.

Yeah, change is hard when you like a particular sound so much. I too have grown to appreciate his new voiceless work.... I like NIN better tho :-D Great news about a new album!

How was his work for Girl with the Dragon Tattoo? I haven't had a chance to listen to his post-NIN stuff except for the soundtrack for The Social Network, which I enjoyed. NP
