Just wondering what is everyone's fav song on Pigmata. Since I never heard pigmartyr this release is truely considered a new album as opposed to a remastered.
I think mine is Arbor Vitate with Kundalini a close second. Hard to pick though since there are many candidates for the best track.

I thought Praise the Lard came out after wrecked. I think its better than that one too. Actually Im starting to like The first track more than any.

After spinning Pigmata a few times, I definately get into The Slaughterfront. Very fierce tune. By the way, Praise The Lard was released in 1992 on Syncro Digital Recordings, Cleopatra Records re-released it in 1997. So thank Cleopatra Records for all the confusion.

very true, in fact the only good thing that came of Cleopatra re-releasing it was that poor <PIG> fans like myself could aquire a copy.

Kundalini would be my favorite at present. I brought my copy of Praise the Lard off Yoshi. 12 tracks © 1991 Concrete Productions. Cleopatra did mess up the re-release. Invisible did the same with Blonde Exodus (Chis Connelly and the Bells). Track listing is totally wrong.

"did it without raymonds permission. and they got the track listing wrong. "
If I had a dollar for everytime cleopatra did that to someone I would have atleast a hundred bucks. Infact I don't think I have a cleopatra CD where the track listing is right.

To be fair, Cleopatra didn't purposely release it without his permission. Somebody sold them the bogus rights and fake masters to a couple albums, then disappeared. They squared it in the end, very much out of a lot of cash but not willing to compromise in making it right with Raymond.

Situation and Take have always been a favorite of mine, but now with Pigmata I can add On The Slaughterfront to the list. Nice to see his Jazz/Industrial mixture turn up again.

Situation and On The Slaughterfront. I'm noticing a trend here.
Has anyone managed to transcribe the lyrics for the new songs yet? Can't wait to see them up.

I love On the Slaughterfront, and I also love Take. I love every song, but those two really stick out to me. By the way, why is Pigmata getting such bad reviews on Amazon? Damn, that's not right. I think it's a great album, one of Pig's finest!

Agreed. Take is a good song. Especially when you're gettin' it on.

You know how people decide to run promotional campaigns on the internet sometimes? You know, let's go spam this site or this forum. Well... sometimes the same happens for negative purposes. People are childish. You could always give your honest two cents to refute it if it bothers you.

Sometimes this is futile. The best way to truely enjoy an album is to ingore what the reviews say, sit back with a pair of headphones and watch yourself grow deaf. That's what I did. Shitthrowing against a group of unknown people who talk shit for stupid reasons is pointless, since they are clearly doing it to be attention whores.

Why would someone need to throw shit?
I just meant posting an honest review of what you liked and didn't like about the album in order to offer more opinions on it. The idea is to balance the negative, not add to it.
