Yeah, Toxico is a lot different than a lot of Pig's other stuff but it's great. Some fans disliked Praise the Lard and The Swining/Red Raw and Sore but I really like them.

One of the weakest arguments about why The Swining/Red Raw and Sore allegedly sucks is how some people say, "It's so cheesy, none of the stuff is heavy." (look at the reviews on Amazon.com to see what I'm talking about). I disagree, a lot of the songs are pretty hardcore. I don't know how you could listen to Rope or Find It Fuck It Forget It and call them easy listening.

In response to rant: 1) Ranting is the purpose of the internet. Don't feel you have to give a disclaimer because you have an opinion. 2) When I think of Goth music, I think of bad 80's music. 3) Why do we have the label "Goth" to begin with. If these people were so fucking origional, they'd think outside the box and proudly state that "fuck no, I'm my own person, goddamnit." 4) Its personal preference of what CD you like more. Because I listed to Pig radio a lot before getting the CD's, I tend to lean towards specific songs on each CD, not completely favoring one over the other. I don't think you can judge Raymond's albums by their individual sound because the songs themselves have their own individual sounds. He could go from something hard to something orchestrated or soft. That's what makes HIM an individual and not fall into any special catagory. 5) If you take any review on amazon.com seriously, then you need to stop taking lessons in gullibility. 6) In conclusion, there's different strokes for different folks. I am proud and happy to say that there is dribble like Brittany Spears or fake shit like Good Charlotte out there because if there wasn't a main stream of crap, we wouldn't have our underground music to have the same amount of precious value that it has. So let the dumb fuckers say what they want. Let them sell their CD's so the true fans can buy them and appreciate the music for what it is.

I like all of Pig's albums, although I agree with you, the newer albums are more commercialized. I like his old stuff better. Is it just me, or are the vocals better in the pre-Red Raw and Sore period, rather than afterwards?

While we're on the subject of Amazon.com reviewers, I don't see the hatred for Prime Evil, either. I think it's a great album, although I thought the remix of Wrecked sucked. Prime Evil and War Pigs are awesome songs.

Serial Killer Thriller The Press No One Gets Out Of Her Alive The Only Good One's A Dead One Toxico
as for the prime evil (ep). It sounds pretty good, the only track that I extremely dislike is the ken ishii remix of wrecked (for me it turns very annoying really fast). All the other tracks are wicked.

first i want to say that depatones rant and zeros counter-rant were both really enjoyable. and i agree with most. second, my opinions of swinnin, prais the lard vs new stuff: the first pig cd i listened to was wrecked, i loved it. but what made me a die hard pig fan was praise the lard. Even though those are my favs i still love the others, and one thing i can say is that anyone who says his new stuff is more commercialized is straight wrong, and very naive. when he made GAM lets say, first, there was zero marketing, second the cd was in print for about a year, trust me i remember desperatley trying to find info about it as it was being made, there wasn't much. then it was out of print for a few years before some company picked it up to release it in america. now in my humble opinion that is about as comercialized as my pet cat. look at Watts, one company releases it and most people that wanted it and desperatly tried to get it had to wait months to just hear it. not very commercial. And the whole goth thing. being a goth isn't listening to 'goth' music, it isn't a state of being, it isn't the way you dress, as with all classifications it is how other people perceive you. a mouse doesn't get a say in being a mammal, you don't get a say in what social group other people put you in. in highschool people said i was a goth, that meant i was a goth, so what if i didn't listen to manson, or bauhaus, or crappy 80's music. so what if I didn't know any 'goths', apparently i was not very social and i wore black clothes a lot. hence they say goth, it's not really a choice someone makes. i know who i am, you know who you are, but unfortunately that has no relevance to someone who doesn't know you and doesn't even know what the word goth means. anyway, the point is the mob says you are a goth, not you. frankenstien didn't say he was a monster, the mob that killed him did. and now on to that meat of the thread, the topic. my favorite pig songs, sick city one for the neck the first track from the swinning, i'm drawing a blank on the song title situation-watts, not pig, but close enough no one gets out of her alive sweet child jump the gun shit for brains(at first i didn't like it but now i love it) ohh, i'm over five. ahh, you gave me an impossible task, i can't pick only five, how about five favorite from each album. that sounds easy . okay ,one last thing. apparently there are people saying prime evil is a crappy cd, i'd like someone to say that to my face, I'll show them the meaning of prime evil. Seriously that cd is fucking amazing. yes the remix of wrecked is different, but i really like ken ishii, so i can dig it. I remember the first time i heard the song 'prime evil' i was blown away. I can understand why someone one would not like praise the lard and the swinning for not being 'hard', lots of people got into pig later in his career with sinsation and can't deal with his old stuff. but prime evil is really hard. it's just stupid. baa on people. i hate them all. ahhh. ahh, i'm going to bed.

Goths piss me off. Fucking heaps of them ramble on about individuality and other bullshit but they all look EXACTLY THE FUCKING SAME. Actually, I hate anything and anyone who value style over substance. Which makes me an angsty shithead I guess but whatever. I'm past caring.
Symphony For The Devil Save Me No-One Gets Out Of Her Alive Lamentous Momentous One Meatball
Honourable Mentions: Rope Volcano Hot Hole Everything Prime Evil War Pigs F.F.F Salambo Blades (Remix) My Sanctuary (And the remix) Sweat And Sour
And I'm sick of listing them, he has too many fucking awesome songs.

That said, goth women are pretty hot. It's a shame they never really matured mentally past that 14 year old stage which inspired them to become goths, though.

14's being a bit generous for most of them. All that crying, and moaning reminds me of a 6 yearold throwing a temper tantrum.
