Greatness Off all the message boards that exist posting it here makes most sense. I haven't eaten bacon in a while now.

People are called 'long pork' for a reason, you know. They are a great alternate source for all 'I can't believe its not pig' products.

Their meat is less, but at least it's tender.

Mmmm, people, like pork but sweeter, so I have heard... I have some recipies somewhere from various adventurers' journals detailing how some of the cannibalistic tribes in Central and South America prepared their feasts. (Yes... I have actual historical recipies... from what I recal most of it involves pit barbeque or roasting.)

Oh, and I forgot, boiling. Boiling ALWAYS seems to be the traditional way to cook a person.
As to whom to devour... health considerations would suggest someone who's lean and not addicted to any interesting substances (to avoid possible toxins or unusual flavors in the meat), but those concerned with flavor would point out that it's the fat that gives any good slice of meat its taste and softness (that's why low fat cuts of beef tend to be somewhat stringy and tough). To avoid a gamey flavor, one needs must make sure the prospective dinner is not stressed at the time of butchering (adrenaline gives a gamey flavor to meat). I guess a clean-living, healthy male in his early 30s would make a decent dish, so where would we find one of those?

I'd eat a vegan because their body has less garbage in their diet. It'd offer a better flavor.

They do have fat. It's just a lot more lean. I've spoken to Culinary students about this. They say the same idea applies to Duck. (They have a horrible diet, too.)
