I'm about to move and leave a lot of bullshit behind, so at the moment, the soundtrack to my life would be empowering, "walking away" kind of music. Not just necessarily the lyrics, but also the way the song sounds. Examples:
Alice in Chains - Sea of Sorrow Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus KMFDM - Disobedience Nine Inch Nails - Ringfinger Pig - Hello Hooray Pig - A Stroll in the Pork Robert Palmer - Not a Second Time Ronnie Milsap - Button Off My Shirt Ronnie Milsap - Turn That Radio On
I also think these songs would make good music for end credits in movies that have happy endings or empowering resolutions.
