Every PIG album is out of print. If any were to be repressed which one should be repressed first?
I say the first full cs A Poke In The Eye... With A Sharp Stick Its easy to find on LP for some unknown reason, but ultra rare and too expensive when found on cd.

I'd have to say that rather than re-release something, a compilation/anthology/best of or whatever you want to call it would make more sense. Most of the real die-hards already have the albums or are willing to pay big bucks for them on eBay. A compilation would mean guaranteed sales from the completionists that need to own every album and makes PIG more accessible to the newer fans. And all those sales could help fund the tour Otherwise, I agree that Stroll would be the best to re-release (mostly because it's the only one I don't own).

Wrecked and GAM are still in print. I believe Cleopatra is still pressing Praise the Lard too.

On Amazon it still list Wrecked (US), Praise The Lard, GAM (US), No One Gets Out Of Her Alive, and Prime Evil as still in print. I am pretty sure that Praise The Lard is long gone since it was not put onto shelves legally (with 3000 copies pressed) is OOP, the other stuff might still have a breath or 2 left till it is gone perminently. This is just my thoughts but probably no chance of finding it in any cd strore round here! (My <PIG> collection would totally suck with out ebay) Later FeeFieFoeFum Also I chose Praise the Lard since it is kick ass from begining to end, As is rest of the albums...

No One and Prime are definitely OOP.
Praise the Lard was indeed re-released illegally, but they agreed to pay Ray royalties and cease relations with the man who duped them. They also agreed to not do any more runs of the album beyond the first pressing, which you correctely named at 3000 copies. However, since Raymond properly settled things with Cleo and was getting his share, he allowed them to continue pressing the album, since he knew fans wanted it (he was going to re-release it himself before that whole debacle). He's on civil terms with Cleo now and went on to work with them on The Swining re-release and all those tributes. So PTL stayed in print, and last I knew, they're still pressing it. They should have gone back and corrected the artwork once it got Ray's okay, but I guess that was asking too much.
Speaking of that, The Swining/RRS would be another Pig CD not OOP.
BTW, I can almost guarantee all those albums will eventually be re-released. May take a decade, but it'll happen. There's a definite market for it. Some label will step up and get them all back out. Mark my words...

I'm pretty sure that all PIG albums are currently out of print. I remember reading it somewhere within the last few months, but damned if I can find a link now.
There may still be stockpiles of some of them sitting in warehouses and that sort of thing, which may make it seem like they're still in print.

Poke because it was the first album which started it all and the CD is so expensive. Also, I got a new copy of PTL for Christmas and I've also seen it in a musc store, so even if it is out of print now, I'm sure Cleopatra made more than 3,000 copies.

A Poke In The Eye With A Sharp Stick, because it's the only one I haven't heard, plus it's never available in the shops when I look for it.

It took me months to get that one... its worth the hunt. Hell, I mean, the first lines of the CD are as follows: "I like to get down on my anus, And as God to enlarge me penis, I sing the praise of this song to you, Because I wanna have one as big as you." (then commence heavy guitar riffs)
Very fun to blast in my little sorrority-wannabe hell.

Hopefully by the end of this decade the least released cds will be re-released. PIG cds are becoming more and more scarce year to year and from what I've seen as most PIG fans keep their PIG merch. Most cases of fans selling it is due to money problems and the rest of the cases are people selling it as a business. There is a market and hopefully we can add more people to it in time.
