Raymond has to have worked on something NEW during the last year and a half plus. It could be Pigmartyr just re-issued (I doubt that) It could be Pigmartyr re-issued & remastered with a remix It could be a Remix Cd It could be a Best Of Cd It could be a totally new Cd
We'll know very soon.
Metro's mail order page says this:
As a former collaborator with KMFDM over the past 20 years, Raymond Watts was still able to regularly release solo albums under the moniker PIG. Pigmata is his newest industrial-rock accomplishment. Slick cynical lyrics are delivered with growling vocals on top of a razor and nail mattress of driving guitars, heavy synths, and aggressive beats. Pigmata will surely be in the CD players of rock, industrial, and metal fans for years to come.
Update of a PIG fan site coming too with more info? www.mnine.com/pig/

sounds like you are right. just checked out metropolis's website and got a tracklist 01. Suck Shit Spit 02. Here To Stay 03. Reject 04. Situation 05. Kundalini 06. Vitriol Vice and Virtue 07. Take 08. Arbor Vitate 09. Stage Slut 10. Junky 11. God Rod 12. On the Slaughterfront 13. Filth Healer
looks like pigmartyr with 3 extra songs. and for 14 bucks that means I will be paying almost 5 bucks per song. sounds about right for pig stuff really. But I can't wait.

you could justify paying $5 a song by saying you ' have to pay for quality' !!!!

You know whats fucked about that deal? I had to deal with grand recordings to get my copy of Watts (but it was signed) now I can get the same cd with 3 more tracks from a decent label.

Considering the CA$H I've spent on US/UK/JAP releases so far This cd is welcomed into my collection considering its new PIG material. PIG is Raymond KMFDM is Sascha If PIG was as predictable as KMFDM then PIG wouldn't be as interesting as it is.

Another update from Metropolis...
Details on the new PIG album: As a former collaborator with KMFDM, Raymond Watts was still able to regularly release albums under the moniker PIG. Pigmata is his newest industrial-rock accomplishment. Slick cynical lyrics are delivered with growling vocals on top of a razor and nail mattress of driving guitars, heavy synths, and aggressive beats. Pigmata was originally released in the UK by Grand Recordings under the name Pigmartyr, with the band being called Watts. For this newest incarnation, three bonus tracks were added and the entire album was re-mastered by Isaac Glendening of Cesium_137

I know it's just a Re-issue, And I know it is very expensive for a cd I already owned. But I am starting to get giddy at the thought of it. I can't wait

I just pre-ordered it from Metropolis. I took my time and looked through their entire catalog and I found nothing else worth purchasing from them. Its pretty damn sad that all they sell is generic ass industrial / industrial dance crap and then just a few KMFDM & PIG cds.

Here are my speculations/predictions/expectations of the new <PIG> songs... Seeing as Watts - Pigmartyr is 47:31 long; that leaves at most 26:29 left on the cd for new <PIG> Material (74 minute cd). First will be the PIG cd/era it sounds like it could be like. Second is what the title sounds like in association with another band. Third will be my expectation of track content and length.
God Rod -This title screams early <PIG> to me. Something from A Poke In The Eye...With A Sharp Stick until The Swining. -It sounds like a Lords of Acid kind of title. -This will be a <PIG> classic that will take you through many twists and turns. -This track will be atleast 5 minutes long & at most 8.
On the Slaughterfront -It sounds like it could be The Swining, Sinsation or Wrecked. - This sounds like the title of a Death Metal song or Slayer like track. -This track will be aggressive like Aborvitate, Wrecked, or High Protein and will run atleast 4 minutes and at most 6.
Filth Healer - This title sounds like the Foetus Corruptus track he appeared on titled The Faith Healer / Hate Feeler (which was a cover) This track just going by name sounds like it could be in the vain of Genuine American Monster -It sounds like the title of a nihilistic metal band song. -It could be catchy and evolve like The Fountain Of Miracles, Red, Raw & Sore or The Seven Veils
Final Notes -One track may be a classic <PIG> Instrumental and if one track is then I expect it to go 10 minutes. -If no tracks are Instrumentals I don't see the new <PIG> tracks to come close to 26:29

I look foward to this. I almost sold my 2nd guitar (i'm piss broke) in attempts to preorder this. I will have to wait and see how my next couple of paychecks go. I want it tho. Bad.

You have 40 days until it comes out to pre-order it Unlike Un-Grand Recordings Metropolis is ready to ship and doesn't magically misplace orders.

That's true. It is the least artistic thing ever. I wish he did something witty like the WRECKED cover. Where most people would think it was a vagina until they tilted it sideways.

I guess we won't see the actual cover of Pigmata until it is released. So far I just put a funky Ray face as the cover...
Hopefully no one in the world believes thats that actual cover.

I never bought the Pigmartyr CD, so here's my chance to get a remastered version with three extra tracks. I'm praying my hardest for some traditional Pig cover art, too.

I wish my copy of Pigmartyr is signed.... WTF? But yea, i'm sure its going to be super rare someday... since it was sorta rare when Grand Recordings was (anti) releasing it anyway.

It should move up in sales on every site that sells it atleast through out this year. Only promotion by the record company and or touring will help it sell well past this year.

Touring isn't all that likely tho.....
