Self destructing is not an option, and he knows that. He's doing amazingly well. Stressed to all fuck, but keeps swinging. The nature of the Lord of Lard is... irrepressible! We've got two possibilities that we're really excited about. Thing is, we need to have bands with about 20% crossover fanbase right now. There are plenty of bands that we love dearly, but they have the same fans who would come out anyway. Hope that makes sense.

Hope that makes sense. i understand perfectly.. doesn't do much good to have an opener with no additional draw. the band i have in mind would definitely bring in some new people. their sound is fairly different and their local chicago draw is pretty huge (even bigger than the band you've already booked )

Have you thought of doing local acts from individual states? Just as a filler?

I will be at the Charleston SC, and Charlotte NC shows definitely, and possibly the Atlanta Show. If any help is needed with Charleston or Charlotte let me know, I have worked as a promoter, DJ ed, and or run shows in both areas and know the venues in those areas, if any help is needed I will work for Watts for free…. But no one else

I'll have a venue list soon. Some of them need to be persuaded to part with their money, so we'll be calling on people in those cities to call the venues and tell them that they're waiting for the PIG show, ask how they can get tickets, etc. Watch the PIGSPACE.

I have always wanted deep down inside when talking to the booking agents for venues to go "How about If I can guess what you look like you book the show at double what Im asking for" Because somehow they are all large round men with slicked back hair that sit on stools alot and or wear baseball hats.

If you need help on local venues in our areas, feel free to ask. I have info on just about every club that's in the Portland, OR Area. And I'm sure most of us have that same knowledge of their areas, as well.

I just found it on the other thread, but thanks!
Jacean's stellar - I'm sure he didn't mean to spread the wrong info. Just a miscommunication somewhere.
God. Imagine, though.

Okay, this confirms it, whenever I disappear from a fandom for a little bit (rl stuff, kiddies) something important invariably happens in it. Note to self: Disappear more often.... anyhow, Richmond, Charlotte, and Atlanta? THREE shows in my part of the country? OMFG, I am going to DIE of happiness. (And must somehow figure out how to scrape together enough money to see at least two of the three, as I'm not about to ask SO to pay for more than one.) I love you, Raymond... I really, really do... I'll even have your kids if you want... NP the happy

Anyhow, you guyes will see the PIG merch way before us brits !!!

Great Ads Some designed for Black & White would be great because we could make mass copies cheap and they'll be easier to read. GW we'll be able to mail ya merch.

Personally, I like the second one in the first list. By the way, two of the 'new jacks' for the touring line up have done the leaky announcement thing. On drums, ANGEL (Genitorturers, Tinjen, Switched, Rikets). www.myspace.com/angelonbrokenwingsHe's got the skills, the hunger and the fear of Raymond to raise the bar for the beats. (Blimey - I went a bit pop DJ there.) On keys and backing vocals, CHARLIE M. This is her first tour out. She's a model, but her background is classical piano and her voice is honey rich. Insert line about fear of Raymond here. www.myspace.com/newnewnewmodelThe full line up will be announced soon. It's going to confuse the hell out of at least half of all PIG fans - muahaha.
