"Wrecked" the U. S. version. But that's only for today. It's subject to change.

My favorite album is "A poke in the eye..." only because of how freaking dirty that album is. Plus, i enjoy peroia on the updated version because it's like creepy story time with Ray while he is opening creaky doors and dropping lightbulbs.
The only reason i don't say the "swinning/Red,raw, and sore" is that it is technically two albums.

I was at a dead tie between 'Wrecked' 'Sinsation' and 'Praise The Lard' for various reasons. Praise The Lard has, by far, the most experimental sound. I read somewhere that Raymond had written the equivalent of 3 songs into each song. This deserves much respect. Plus, 'Blood Slicked Highway' is one of my favourite songs. 'Sinsation' is the most sinister sounding album. It reminds me of what would be the soundtrack to a serial killer's evening as the prey is hunted down, caught, slaughtered, then feasted upon. Its very clinically done. It doesnt beat you over the head with a club, but gently slits your skin open with a scalpel. 'Wrecked' has some absolutely magical songs. Some, you can actually dance too, which isnt my cup of tea, but I respect it. The movement of 'Wrecked' is unlike any other album. 'Find It Fuck It Forget It' is just irreplaceable - the power it has, the bluntness of the message, the feel of the music. Simply awesome. So yeah. It was tough. But, 'Sinsation' was also the first cd I got by Pig, so it holds a very dear place next to my heart, black and charred as it is...

The Swining for me, as I thnk that the best PIG songs are 'Contempt' & 'Fountain of Miracles', although I do believe that 'One Meatball' is just a piss-take of a song.

I picked up Sinsation once I saw it in a used CD store. Me already being a huge fan of KMFDM was entirely ecstatic about hearing an album made entirely by Raymond himself. I couldn't stop listening to it for 3 months. Still remains to be my favourite PIG album

I voted for "The Swining / Red Raw And Sore", however my favorite is "The Swining" without "Red Raw And Sore", but since that wasn't an option. (I just don't think RRAS contributes with that much and it also cuts the greatest song on there, "Symphony For the Devil", down by a minute or so. So I prefer the original japanese album version.)
But why isn't "Pigmata" on there? And when some of the EP's are, why aren't all there? Where's "Prime Evil" and "No One Gets Out Of Her Alive" (and maybe "Painiac")? It's not a complete listing of Pig works. (I don't think everything should be there, but if some EP's are, then all EP's should be...right? Otherwise just stick with the 7 albums.)

Speaking of Pigmata, I think the thread needs to be updated with that on the list, as in my opinion, Pigmata is the best release since Wrecked. I would have to agree with you on this one....Pigmata was amazing.

Didn't really do it for me in terms of favorite quality. Compared to other bands' albums, I suppose it would rank higher than most. Ha ha.

I voted for The Swining. Every tune on that album is amazing.
Praise the Lard is a very close second.

The all star tracks of The Swining to me are... The Fountain Of Miracles Symphony For The Devil (They're both epic in my eyes)
The all star tracks of Praise The Lard to me are... ¡Toxico! Sick City (They're both epic in my eyes)
The two runner-ups On The Swining... The Seven Veils Blades
The two runner-ups On Praise The Lard... Infinite Shame Sweet Child
To me it may be a tie.

Well, what it mostly came down to is that, like I mentioned in my previous post, there isn't one song on The Swining that I don't love. But on Praise the Lard, I usually skip over one or two songs. I never liked A Touch of Upheaval very much, or My Sanctuary (this particular version, anyway. The remix on the Pigspace is awesome). The rest is brilliant.

To me both have quite a close amount of quality tracks on them. Praise does have some filler on it so that could make a good X factor. The Swining sure is a lean and mean album. Could you imagine experiencing that cd live?
